Okay, so I’ve been totally sucked into the “Fourth Wing” series, and like any good fan, I needed a visual. I decided to make a squad chart, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey.

Getting Started (and Immediately Feeling Lost)
First, I grabbed a big piece of paper and some colorful pens. I thought, “This will be easy, I’ll just jot down the squads and their members.” Oh, how wrong I was. I quickly realized I couldn’t remember who was in which squad, let alone all the dragons’ names!
Diving into the Books (Again!)
So, I had to go back to the books. I spent a good couple of hours flipping through pages, highlighting every mention of a squad, a rider, and their dragon. My books are now a mess of sticky notes and underlines, but hey, it was for a good cause!
Organizing the Chaos
With all the info gathered, it was time to actually create the chart. I started by listing the four main squads: Flame, Claw, Tail, and Sword.
- Flame Section
- Claw Section
- Tail Section
- Sword Section
Under each one, I carefully wrote down the names of the riders and their corresponding dragons. This part took some serious concentration, making sure I didn’t mix anyone up.

Adding Some Flair (Because Why Not?)
Once the basic structure was done, I decided to make it look a bit prettier. I used different colored pens for each squad and even attempted to draw little dragon symbols next to each name. Let’s just say my artistic skills are… limited. But it added a personal touch!
The Finished Product (and a Sense of Accomplishment)
Finally, after several hours of work, my “Fourth Wing” squad chart was complete! It’s not perfect, and it’s definitely not professionally made, but it’s mine. And most importantly, it helps me keep track of all those amazing characters and their dragons. Now, when I’m rereading the books (which I inevitably will), I’ll have my trusty chart by my side!
