Alright, let’s talk about this fella, Gabe Ruediger. Don’t know much about fancy fightin’ stuff, but I heard tell he’s a fighter, a real tough one.

So, this Gabe guy, born way back in 1977, August 29th to be exact. That makes him… well, older than my grandkid, that’s for sure. They say he’s from America, fought in somethin’ called “mixed martial arts.” Sounds like a whole lotta scrappin’ to me. He was in somethin’ called UFC, WEC, and Tachi Palace Fights, whatever those are. Big names, I reckon, if you’re into that punchin’ and kickin’ business.
Now, they tell me he was a champion, held some belts. A WEC Lightweight Champion and a TPF Lightweight Champion, they call it. Guess that means he was the best of the bunch at his weight. Lightweight, they said, so not a real big fella, but strong, I bet. Tough as nails, probably.
- Fighting Career: He started learnin’ karate when he was just a young’un, seven years old. Karate, huh? Like them fellas in the movies? Anyways, he didn’t stop there, kept on learnin’ and fightin’, all the way up to the big leagues, I guess.
- Weight and Size: They say he’s about 5 foot 10, that’s taller than my Billy, and weighs around 155 pounds. Not a giant, like I said, but plenty strong enough to knock a fella down, I reckon.
- Where he from?: Heard he’s from Rancho Cucamonga. Don’t know where that is, sounds like a funny name, though. Probably one of them big cities out West.
He fought a lotta fellas, I heard. Wins and losses, like any fightin’ man. They got numbers for it, 17-7-0 or somethin’ like that. Means he won more than he lost, which is good, right? Last fought in somethin’ called UFC 126, way back in 2011. Seems like a long time ago. Guess he’s retired now, ain’t fightin’ no more.
Folks say he knocked out some fellas, won by what they call “KO/TKO.” That’s when you hit a fella so hard he can’t get up, I think. He also won by other ways, submittin’ ’em or somethin’. Don’t really understand all them fightin’ words, but it sounds rough.
This Gabe fella, he also did some teachin’, I hear. Got himself a place called Kaiju MMA Fitness academy. Kaiju, now that sounds like a monster name! Maybe he teaches folks how to fight like monsters, haha! He’s teachin’ even now, at 42, and it’s been over six years since he stopped fightin’ himself.

They say he got famous from bein’ on a show called TUF. TUF, what kinda name is that? Guess it’s somethin’ important, though, ’cause folks remember him from it. Probably a fightin’ show, makes sense for a fella like him.
So, that’s about all I know ’bout this Gabe Ruediger fella. A fighter, a champion, a teacher. Seems like a tough guy, but maybe a good guy too. He fought hard, won some, lost some, and now he’s teachin’ others. That’s a life, ain’t it? A whole lotta fightin’ and then teachin’. Well, good for him, I say. Hope he’s happy doin’ what he’s doin’. And that’s the story of Gabe Ruediger, as best as I can tell it.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed the chickens.
