So, I bumped into this “gene garber” thing today and decided to mess around with it a bit. I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t even know what it was at first. I just saw it floating around and figured, “Why not?”

First thing I did was, well, I searched it up. I needed to have, at least, a bit idea about it before going in, right? A bunch of stuff popped up, and it seemed like some kind of bio-related or programming stuff I am still not very clear about. I don’t know, it didn’t look too scary, so I kept going.
My First Experiment
I found some instructions (very basic, I have to tell you), they are confusing. I started by simply writing down everything step by step,I mean, that’s how you learn, right? Trial and error, baby!
- Step 1: Follow the instructions.I kept hitting this and that, and I felt a little silly because it was not very clear for me what’s going on.
- Step 2: I tried to make some changes.I’m not sure if I made it better or worse, honestly. It’s all part of the process, I guess.
- Step 3: I tried to run it, and surprisingly, the results showed up!
It’s far from perfect, I am telling you!But it was kind of cool to see something I put together, it’s working! It’s like building with LEGOs, except way more confusing and with less colorful blocks.
I spent, the time messing around,I just played with different settings. I wanted to see what would happen if I change it. Some things worked, some things definitely didn’t. But hey, that’s how you learn, right?
So, that’s my “gene garber” adventure for the day. I’m not an expert, not even close. But I did something, and I learned something, even if it was just a tiny bit. And honestly, that’s a win in my book.
