Okay, so I wanted to keep better track of the Saudi Professional League matches. You know, stay on top of things and not miss any games. First, I scribbled down a few team names on a sticky note – a total mess, I admit. Then I thought, “There’s gotta be a better way!”
Finding a Good Source
I started by good old searching on internet. Typed in “Saudi Professional League schedule” and clicked around a few of the top results. Some were okay, some were kinda clunky, and a few were just plain outdated. I mean, who wants last year’s schedule?
Making It My Own
After some digging, I found a website that looked pretty decent. It had all the fixtures listed, but it wasn’t exactly pretty or easy to scan. So, I decided to copy the whole schedule.
I opened up a new note file. Nothing fancy, just the basic one that comes with my computer. I pasted the schedule in there. It was a HUGE wall of text at first. Game times, team names, dates – all jumbled together. I then slowly read all information line by line.
Cleaning Things Up
This is where the real work began. I went through each line, added some spaces, and used some bolding to make the team names pop. I even created little sections for each match week, so it was easier to see what was coming up. This part took a while, I won’t lie. Lots of scrolling and double-checking, but I finally got it into a format that my brain could actually process.
- Team A vs Team B – Date – Time
- Team C vs Team D – Date – Time
- And so on…
I also thought to myself I should have some color, but time was limited at the time.

The Finished (For Now) Product
It’s still a work in progress, but I now have a simple, readable schedule that I can quickly refer to. It is not perfect, I know, but It’s way better than that messy sticky note I started with! Maybe next, I will add the channels, I don’t know. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
