You know, that Celtics background, it’s somethin’ else. Green and white, that’s all I see. That team, they got somethin’ special. Been around a long time, you see. Since way back when, 1946, they say. That’s before my time, but I heard the stories.
They got all these Celtics wallpapers now. Pictures of them players, jumpin’ and shootin’. My grandson, he’s got one on his phone. Says he wants to be like them. I told him, “You gotta work hard, boy, if you wanna be like them Celtics.”
They play that basketball, up and down the court. Fast, you know? Hard to keep up with sometimes. But it’s fun to watch. Especially when they win. And they win a lot, those Celtics. They the best team!
They got this fella, Walter Brown. Heard he was a big shot, one of the owners, back in the day. They put his name up there, number one. Must’ve been a real good man. Important, you know? They don’t just give those things away. He started the Celtics. So he is a big man in Celtics history.
And they got these Celtics images, they put ’em everywhere. On shirts, on hats, even on the TV. Green and white, everywhere you look. Can’t escape it, not that you’d want to. They won so many games, I can hardly remember! Some number like 17 in the regular, 2 in the playoffs, a total of 19 or so. That’s a good record.
They say they got this new thing, “Different Here.” Sounds fancy. But they still bleed green, that’s what they say. Means they love the team, I reckon. Loyal, like them old-timers. Like me, I guess. Been watchin’ them for years. Celtics basketball is the best.
Now, you wanna watch ’em, they say you gotta have this “fubo” thing. Sounds like a newfangled contraption. But it’s got all the games. Even the ones on that NBC Sports Boston. That’s where you see ’em most, I reckon. Unless they’re on ABC or ESPN. Lots of ways to watch ’em, I guess. If you got the money, that is. Nowadays, everything costs money. But you know, it is worth the money.

I remember, back when I was a little girl, we didn’t have no fancy phones or nothin’. We just listened to the games on the radio. But we still loved the Celtics. Still cheered ’em on, just like we do now. Some things don’t change, I guess. They were the team and always are.

They got these 4k wallpapers now. Whatever that means. Must be real clear, I reckon. My eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I can still see that green and white just fine. And I can still hear the crowd roar when they score. That’s the best part, you know? Hearin’ that roar. Makes you feel like you’re right there, in the middle of it all. I can feel the team spirit!
So yeah, this Celtics background, it’s a big deal. It’s more than just a team. It’s a tradition. It’s somethin’ you pass down, like an old quilt or a family recipe.
