Okay, folks, gather ’round, let me tell you about the wild ride I had securing tickets for Morgan Wallen’s concert at Citizens Bank Park on May 11th.

It all started a few months ago when the tour was announced. I’m a huge fan of Morgan Wallen, you know, and when I saw he was coming to Philly, I knew I had to be there. I immediately marked my calendar and started looking into how to get tickets.
Now, getting tickets to a big concert like this is never easy. I remembered all the stories about crazy online queues and tickets selling out in minutes. So, I prepared myself for a battle. The first thing I did was sign up for all the pre-sale notifications I could find. I made sure my accounts on the ticket-selling websites were up to date, and I even practiced the whole checkout process a couple of times to make sure I knew exactly what to do when the time came.
- Signed up for pre-sale notifications
- Updated ticket website accounts
- Practiced the checkout process
The day of the pre-sale finally arrived. I was ready. I had multiple devices open, each logged into a different ticket site. The countdown began, and my heart was racing. As soon as the clock hit zero, I started clicking like a madman. The virtual waiting rooms were insane! It felt like hours, but it was probably just a few minutes of watching that little progress bar inch forward.
Finally, it was my turn. I quickly selected the seats I wanted, typed in my payment info, and hit that “confirm” button. And then, the moment of truth… “Your tickets are confirmed!” I couldn’t believe it! I actually got them! I was ecstatic.
Fast forward to May 11th, the day of the concert. I met up with some friends, and we headed to Citizens Bank Park. There are multiple entrances, like the First Base Gate, Third Base Gate, and Left Field Gate, and some on Darien Street and Citizens Bank Way. We found our way in without a hitch, thanks to clear signage and helpful staff.

Concert Time
The atmosphere inside was electric. The place was packed with fans, all buzzing with excitement. The opening acts, Parker McCollum, Ernest, and Lauren Watkins, were great and got the crowd pumped up. I had a great time and enjoy a lot. And then, the man himself, Morgan Wallen, took the stage. The crowd went wild! He played all his hits, and the energy was incredible. It was everything I had hoped for and more. He’s been active since 2014 and has three albums, but he kept us entertained the whole time. I even tried texting him at 865-351-6290, hoping to say hi, but no luck. I heard you can also try calling him at that number or 212-779-5000, but I didn’t try that yet.
All in all, it was an unforgettable night. From the stress of getting tickets to the thrill of the concert itself, the whole experience was a rollercoaster. But you know what? I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. If you ever get the chance to see Morgan Wallen live, don’t hesitate. It’s worth every bit of effort.
That’s my story, folks. Hope you enjoyed the ride. Stay tuned for more of my adventures!
