Hey everyone, it’s your buddy here, back with another one of my little experiments. So, this morning, I got this idea stuck in my head about sending out a simple “good morning” message to the team. Not just any message, though. I wanted it to be something that would really get everyone going, you know? Make ’em feel appreciated and pumped for the day.

First thing I did was grab my phone and start browsing. I was looking for some inspiration, something more than just the usual “good morning.” I found some nice quotes about starting the day right and the importance of being positive, but they felt a bit too formal for what I was going for.
Then, I thought, why not make it personal? I decided to craft individual messages for each team member. I know them all pretty well, so I figured I could tailor each message to their personalities and what they’re working on. It took a bit longer than I thought, but it felt good to think about each person and what makes them tick.
- For Sarah, who’s been working her tail off on that new project, I sent her a message saying, “Good morning, rockstar! You’re killing it on Project X. Keep shining!”
- Then there’s Mike, who’s always a bit slow to get going in the mornings. I sent him, “Morning, Mike! Time to rise and grind! Coffee’s waiting!” with a funny GIF.
- And for Maria, who loves inspirational stuff, I found a cool quote: “Climb the mountain so you can see the world.” Then I added, “You got this, Maria! Have a great day!”
After I sent out all the messages, I kind of sat back and waited. It was like throwing a little party and hoping people would show up. And guess what? They did! One by one, my team started replying, and the energy was totally different.
Sarah thanked me and said the message made her day. Mike laughed at the GIF and said he needed that push. Maria loved the quote and said she felt inspired. And that’s just the first few!
It was such a small thing, sending out those messages, but it made a huge difference. The team chat was buzzing all morning, and everyone seemed a bit more upbeat and connected. It’s like those little moments of connection, those small gestures, that really make a team feel like, well, a team. It is real that the team need to feel about themselves like family and friends.

So, yeah, that was my little morning adventure. It reminded me that it doesn’t take much to brighten someone’s day. A few kind words, a little bit of effort, and you can make a real impact. I’m definitely going to be doing this again. Maybe I’ll try a “good afternoon” message next time or “have a nice weekend” on Friday, haha! Anyway, just wanted to share this with you all. Hope it inspires you to spread some good vibes today!
Oh, and before I forget, I also tried a little prayer for the team before I started writing the messages. It was just a simple one, giving thanks for everyone’s hard work. I thought, why not, right? It felt like a good way to start. I should say thanks to the Lord. And I just wanted to add one more thing, I also explored some words of encouragement and I saw an idea on Pinterest, which was a great thing for me.
Try it out, and let me know how it goes!
