Alright, so yesterday I finally checked out that Green Lake Golf Course in Seattle everyone’s been talking about. I’ve been meaning to go for ages, and let me tell you, it was… an experience.

Getting Started
First off, I grabbed my clubs from the garage. They were a little dusty, hadn’t used them in a while, you know how it is. Then, I jumped in the car and headed north. Finding the place was pretty straightforward, thank goodness. I just followed the directions on my phone, and boom, there it was.
The Course Itself
When I arrived, I was impressed, it’s bigger than I thought. I paid the green fee, which wasn’t too bad, surprisingly. Then, I grabbed a scorecard and headed to the first tee.
- The first few holes were… okay. Nothing too crazy, just getting the hang of things.
- I shanked a few, sliced a couple, the usual. My short game needs work, clearly.
- Then, around the middle, things got interesting. I lost a couple of balls.
I have to find somewhere to practice it.
Finishing Up
By the end, I was pretty tired, honestly. I added up my score, and let’s just say it wasn’t my best round. But hey, I had fun, I got some fresh air, and I saw some pretty nice scenery. That’s what counts, right? I packed up my gear, tossed it in the trunk, and drove home. Feeling good, a little sore, but good.

Will I go back? Maybe. It’s a convenient place to knock a ball around.
