This here story’s ’bout that young fella, Gryffin, playin’ that League of Legends game. He’s a whippersnapper, born in two thousand and somethin’, 2006 I reckon. Plays for that T1 team, or the young’uns team, T1 Academy, somethin’ like that. They call him a Jungler, whatever that means. Sounds like he goes traipsin’ through the woods to me.

This Gryffinn, he’s a hotshot, I tell ya. Hit number one, they say, at just sixteen! Sixteen! When I was sixteen, I was milkin’ cows and churnin’ butter. This boy’s out here playin’ video games and gettin’ famous. Times sure have changed, ain’t they?
- He’s American, or maybe Vietnamese, somethin’ mixed, that Gryffinn.
- Plays for T1, that big team.
- He’s a Jungler, whatever that is. He is Gryffinn t1.
- Sixteen and number one. Goodness gracious!
- He likes that Skarner character, plays him a lot, they say.
Now, this Gryffinn plays that Skarner fella, a scorpion or somethin’. He’s got a good record with him, 62 wins and 41 losses, that ain’t half bad. He’s a Grandmaster, they call it, some fancy title. Don’t mean much to me, but it sounds important, don’t it? Grandmaster Gryffinn t1, a big deal.
They got these things called seasons, like winter and spring. This Gryffinn fella, he’s been playin’ since season ten, all the way to fourteen. That’s a lot of seasons. He must really like this game. I remember back in my day, we had seasons too, plantin’ season, harvest season.
They say he uses some kinda special weapons in the game, somethin’ called a Duskblade, a Collector, and an Axiom Arc. Sounds like somethin’ out of a space movie. Turns his big move, his “ult” they call it, into a real doozy. An “execute machine,” they say. Whatever that means, it sounds powerful. He likes to use it with his Gryffinn t1 Skarner.
This Gryffinn, he plays for the T1 Rookies too, another team, I guess. They keep track of all his games, how many he wins, how many he loses. They even got somethin’ called “networth,” how much he’s worth in the game, I suppose. It’s all very complicated.

They say he’s a Challenger, too. Challenged by what, I don’t know. Maybe challenged by life. Life’s a challenge, ain’t it? Especially for these young folks these days, with their video games and their internets.
I heard somethin’ ’bout a hook, and a bush. Sounds like they’re fightin’ in the woods. This Gryffinn fella, he must be good at hidin’ and jumpin’ out at folks. Reminds me of when I used to play hide-and-seek in the cornfield. Gryffinn t1, he might be good at that.
This T1 team, they got a whole bunch of folks playin’ for ’em. Doran, Oner, Faker, Gumayusi, Keria, somethin’ like that. Sounds like a bunch of gibberish to me. Then they got the T1 Academy, with Haetae, Vincenzo, Guti, Poby, Smash, Cloud. More gibberish! They need to learn some real names, like John or Mary. This Gryffinn t1, he has a nice name.
They got all these numbers and stats for this Gryffinn fella. Wins, losses, ranks, somethin’ called LP. It’s all a bit much for me to keep track of. Back in my day, we kept track of how many eggs the chickens laid, how much milk the cows gave. Simple things.
They got these records of all his games, every single one. Who he played, what he did. It’s like they’re watchin’ him all the time. Big Brother is watchin’, ain’t that what they say? Even that Gryffinn t1.

This Gryffinn, Johnson his real name is, he’s a young fella, full of beans. Playin’ his video games, makin’ a name for himself. It’s a different world these days, ain’t it? Back in my day, we made our own fun. We didn’t need no fancy video games. Gryffinn t1, he has it easy I think.
Well, that’s all I know about that Gryffinn t1. He is a young gamer, that Gryffinn t1. He’s good at what he does, I reckon. Hope he has fun with it. That’s all that matters, ain’t it? Havin’ fun. And stayin’ out of trouble. That’s important too. Very important for young people like Gryffinn t1.
