Highest Paid UFC Fighter, Current 2024

Alright, so you wanna know who’s makin’ the big bucks in that UFC fightin’ thing, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t no secret. Everybody and their chickens know it’s that loudmouth fella, Conor McGregor.
Yeah, that’s right, Conor McGregor. That Irishman, he’s the one rakin’ in the dough. Even though he ain’t fightin’ all that much these days, he’s still the big cheese, the top dog, the… well, you get the picture. He’s the highest paid, simple as that.
Now, I heard tell he’s comin’ back to fight again this year, 2024 they say. Against some fella named Michael Chandler. And they sayin’ he’s gettin’ a cool 5 million dollars just for showin’ up! Can you believe that? 5 million dollars! That’s enough to buy a whole lotta cows, let me tell ya.
- Conor McGregor: The Money Man
They say he made even more than that back in 2020, almost 7 million! Beat some fella named Eddie Alvarez real bad, they say. And walked away with a pile of cash taller than me! He’s like a money magnet, that fella. Just sticks to him, no matter what.
And it ain’t just fightin’ money neither. He’s got all sorts of deals, sellin’ this and that. Whiskey, I think. And probably other stuff too. He’s a businessman, they say. A smart one, I guess, seein’ as how he’s got all that money.

But don’t go thinkin’ he’s the only one gettin’ paid. There’s other fellas too. Like that fella Jon Jones, the one with the long arms. They say he’s gettin’ anywhere from 5 to 10 million a fight. That’s a whole lotta hay, ain’t it?
And then there’s this young fella, Sean O’Malley. Heard he’s gonna make a bunch of money fightin’ in some fancy place called Riyadh. Maybe even more than McGregor, if enough people watch him fight. Up to 3.3 million they say! See, these young fellas are comin’ up fast.
UFC Pay: More Than Just Fight Money
Now, I don’t understand all this pay-per-view stuff, but apparently, that’s how these fellas make the real money. The more people watchin’, the more money they get. It’s like sellin’ tickets to a barn dance, I guess, but on a much bigger scale. A whole lot bigger.
And it ain’t just winnin’ that gets you paid. Even if you lose, you still get a chunk of change. Course, you get more for winnin’, that’s just common sense. But even losin’ pays alright, I reckon.

So, to sum it all up, Conor McGregor, he’s the top earner. He’s the richest one in that UFC bunch. But there’s others doin’ alright too. Jon Jones is makin’ bank, and this young O’Malley fella might be the next big thing. It’s all about who can draw the biggest crowd, who can get people watchin’. That’s what brings the money in this fightin’ world.
And that’s the story, plain and simple. Conor McGregor, he’s the king of the money hill in the UFC right now, 2024. But things can change fast in that fight game, so who knows what next year will bring. Maybe some other fella will come along and knock him off his perch. We’ll just have to wait and see.
But one thing’s for sure, these fellas are gettin’ paid a whole heap more than us folks workin’ the farm ever will. But hey, that’s the fight game for ya. High risk, high reward, as they say.
And I heard that this Nurmagomedov fella is the one right under McGregor in money earned, even if he ain’t fightin’ no more. Then there’s another fella, Alistair Overeem, he made a good bit too, but not as much as those other two. It’s all a big money game, I tell ya, a big money game.
