Alright, so I got my hands on this little trail bike.
Spent a good chunk of time just messing about with it. Mostly out on some back trails, nothing too crazy.
First Impressions
It’s simple. Like, really simple. Not a lot going on, which is kinda nice actually.
- Starts up easy, most of the time.
- Light enough to throw around.
- Doesn’t sip gas, but doesn’t guzzle it either.
Took it through some mud, over some small logs. Handled it okay. You know, for what it is.
Definitely feels like a learning bike. Or something just for fun, not serious riding.
The Reality Kicks In
But yeah, it’s basic. The suspension? It’s there. That’s about all you can say.

Hit anything bigger than a pebble and you feel it. Right up your spine.
And power? It’ll get you moving, but don’t expect to win any races. Even against a slightly annoyed squirrel.
It’s like, it does the job, but you find yourself wanting more pretty quick. Especially if you’ve ridden bigger stuff.
Why This Bike Though?
Funny story actually. I wasn’t even looking for a bike like this.
My buddy’s kid was trying to learn to ride. Had this bigger bike, too much for him. Kid was getting scared, frustrated. You know how it goes.

My buddy was about to sell it cheap. I remembered messing around on small bikes when I was young. Way less intimidating.
So I told him, hold on, let me grab this little Honda I saw for sale down the road. Picked it up used, didn’t cost much.
Thought maybe the kid could use it. Turns out, he loved it. Got his confidence back.
Me? I ended up riding it more than he did, just goofing off when he wasn’t using it.
It reminded me of why I started riding in the first place. Not about speed or power. Just about being out there, having a bit of fun.

Sometimes simple is good. Less to worry about breaking, less pressure.
So yeah. It’s still kicking around. Does what it needs to do. Solid little machine for a specific job.
Not gonna set the world on fire, but wasn’t ever meant to.
