This here Honda VFR1200X Crosstourer, it’s a big ol’ bike. You seen them big bikes folks ride around on, all fancy-like? This one’s kinda like that. Honda, they make good stuff, my neighbor’s got a Honda lawnmower, been runnin’ for years, ain’t never given him a lick of trouble. So, this here motorcycle, I reckon it’s probably pretty good too.
Now, they stopped makin’ the VFR1200F back in, I think it was 2017. Somethin’ about rules and noise. And then the VFR800F, VFR800X, VFR1200X, all of them, they quit makin’ them in 2021. I don’t know much about these things, something called “Euro5,” and I heard folks say that’s why these bikes are not on the market anymore. Seems like they always changin’ the rules on us.
But this Crosstourer, it’s a big one. They say it’s got 127 horsepower. Now, I don’t know what that means exactly, but it sounds like a whole heap of power. My old mule, Bessie, she had maybe one horsepower, maybe two on a good day. This thing’s got 127! That’s like a whole herd of Bessies pullin’ ya. And it says 7,750 rpm. Sounds like a very fast number. It must be very fast.
And it’s got somethin’ called torque. They say it’s got 126 of them, and it’s 93 pound-feet. That sounds important, like a very strong person. This bike is very strong.
They say you can buy these things on that there ebay. Lots of things for sale on there. My granddaughter, she’s always buyin’ stuff on the computer. Says it’s easy. They even got a money-back guarantee. That’s good. You don’t want to buy somethin’ and then be stuck with it if it ain’t no good. I bought a pair of shoes once, mail order. They was too tight, pinched my toes somethin’ awful. Had to send ’em back. Cost me a fortune in postage.
This VFR1200X, it seems like a good bike for people who like that sort of thing. It’s big. That’s the most important thing. It’s powerful. And you can find them on ebay. Or other places. You know those places online where you can sell your stuff.
