Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Honkai: Star Rail” thing, specifically trying to get this Planar Ornament set for Sunday. It’s been… a journey, let me tell you.

The Grind Begins
First, I had to figure out where to even start. I knew it was in Penacony, that much was obvious. But, like, where in Penacony? The place is huge! So, I dove into some online guides, read some forum posts, you know, the usual detective work.
Eventually, I figured out I needed to tackle the Simulated Universe: World 9. That’s where the magic happens, apparently. I assembled my best team, buffed them up as much as I could, and jumped in.
Simulated Universe Shenanigans
The Simulated Universe, man, it’s a beast. It’s basically a roguelike, so every run is different. You gotta pick your paths, grab blessings, fight a bunch of random enemies… it’s a whole thing. And it’s long. You really need to have some time set aside for this.
My first few runs? Disasters. Total wipes. I was getting smacked around by the bosses, running out of steam halfway through, just generally having a bad time. I had to go back to the drawing board, rethink my team composition, and really study the blessings that were available.
Tweaking and Repeating
So, I spent a good chunk of time just experimenting. I tried different characters, different Light Cones, different paths through the Simulated Universe. I learned which blessings synergized well with my team, which enemies were giving me the most trouble, and which Curios were actually useful (most of them are junk, let’s be honest).

It was a lot of trial and error. Lots of restarting, lots of tweaking, lots of muttering to myself about “RNG” and “bad luck.” But, slowly but surely, I started to get better. I started clearing World 9 more consistently. My team got stronger, I got smarter, and the Simulated Universe started to feel less intimidating.
Finally, the Loot!
After I don’t know how many runs – seriously, I lost count – it finally happened. I beat the final boss, that big robot thing, and I got the rewards screen.
- And there they were: The Planar Ornament!
It was a real “fist pump” moment, I’m not gonna lie. All that grinding, all that frustration, it finally paid off.
So yeah, that’s my story of how I got the Honkai Sunday Planar set. It’s a process, for sure. It takes time, patience, and a bit of luck. But it’s definitely doable. And now, I get to share my knowledge to you all, to help make your runs less sufferable. Good Luck!
