You know, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this * CS2 thing. Sounds like some kinda fancy game these young’uns play on them computers. I don’t rightly know much ’bout it, but I heard them say it’s like that shootin’ game, Counter-Strike, but the new one, CS2 they call it.

Well, these * fellas, they’re supposed to be real good at this game. Like a team, ya know? They go ’round playin’ against other teams. Sounds like a whole lotta fuss if ya ask me. I heard they played a match against some team called OG, sounds like a gang or somethin’. They said it was 1-2, whatever that means. They played on maps called Anubis, Ancient, and Dust II. Now that is just silly, maps in a game? Back in my day, we had real maps, made of paper!
And there was another one, where they played a team called G2. Sounds like another one of them gangs. 2-0 this time, these * boys lost. They played on them Ancient and Dust II maps again. I guess these are the only places they know how to play in that game. They need to get out more, see the world, not just these dusty old maps!
- They also played some team called SAW.
- Sounds like a tool my old man used to use in the shed.
- I don’t know the score, but I heard it was at a big fancy event.
- PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Europe RMR A, they called it.
- That’s a mouthful, ain’t it?
These * boys, I hear they ain’t been doin’ too hot lately. They got beat by some team called Wildcard. Now, that just sounds like trouble. Folks thought * would do better, be in the top 16, but they got knocked out, eliminated they say. Sounds harsh. It was for the Shanghai Major 2024. Big event, I reckon. Wildcard’s got a 2-2 score, so they ain’t doin’ too shabby, I suppose.
There was another match, * against some team called paiN. Sounds like what I feel in my joints these days! They played on a map called Inferno, 13-9 for *. Sounds like they won that one. They got a 1-1 record in somethin’ called the Swiss stage. paiN has a 0-2 record, poor fellas. Something called “SwitzerlandReady 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2.” My, my, these games are gettin’ complicated.
Now some fella named noway, he was real important, and Virtus pro, they were playing terrible, stacking the wrong bombsite every time and giving away good players. One more fella called Imperial, he was in the match, too.

Seems like this , they’re a big deal in this whole game world. They got teams for other games too, not just this CS2. They won a whole bunch of them championships, and they got a lot of prize money. I heard it was somethin’ like $19.5 million! Can you imagine? That’s more money than I’ve seen in my whole life! They’re in the top 10 in the world for that, I hear.
This whole thing started way back in 2003, in Russia. Then some folks from Armenia bought it in 2022. They’re ranked number 31 now, with a score of 1729. Don’t ask me what that means, I just heard them sayin’ it.
And get this, Virtus pro name origin? It’s some old Roman word. Means somethin’ like “manliness,” “bravery,” “being good at things.” I reckon that makes sense, for a game where you gotta be tough, I suppose. This is all about the * CS2 team, you see. It’s a big thing, I guess, for them that’s into these computer games.
Well, that’s all I know ’bout this * and their CS2 game. It’s all a bit much for me, but I guess the young folks like it. Me, I’d rather be out in the garden, tendin’ to my tomatoes. That’s a game I understand!
