Okay, so, I wanted to get in on this whole Dodgers Stadium parade thing. I mean, who wouldn’t? It’s a big deal! So I started looking into it, and let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be.

First off, I hit up a website called Vivid Seats, because it sounded like they would have tickets. But turns out, the parade itself is a free event, open to everyone. No tickets needed, which is cool, I guess. But that also means it’s gonna be packed.
Then I started thinking about how to actually get to the stadium. They’re opening the parking gates super early, like 8:30 AM. And the stadium gates open at 9 AM. If you get there, they’ll have some food and stuff you can buy, and they’re gonna play the parade on the big screens before the team even gets there.
But here’s the thing – getting downtown is gonna be a nightmare. They’re saying traffic is gonna be crazy, so the smart move is to take the Metro. I looked up the parade route – it starts at City Hall, goes down Spring Street, then First Street, then Grand Avenue, and finally Fifth Street. So you gotta figure out which Metro stop is closest to all that.
Honestly, the whole thing sounds like a bit of a mess. But hey, it’s the Dodgers! I’m still thinking about going, but I’m definitely gonna have to plan it out carefully. I’ll probably try to get there super early, take the Metro, and just be prepared for some serious crowds.
- Parade: Free, no tickets needed.
- Stadium Gates: Parking opens at 8:30 AM, entry at 9 AM.
- Getting There: Metro is your best bet.
- Parade Route: City Hall, Spring, First, Grand, Fifth.
- Expect: Lots and lots of people.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I figured out:
Wish me luck! I might need it.
