Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post about my Edgar Berlanga tattoo experience, written in a casual, conversational style:

Alright, so you guys know I’m a huge boxing fan, right? And Berlanga, that dude has got some serious power. I’ve been following his career for a while, and I just really dig his energy. So, I had this crazy idea… why not get a tattoo to show my support? Yeah, I know, maybe a little extreme, but hear me out.
First, I spent weeks looking at different images of Berlanga. Like, seriously, scrolling through photos and trying to find something that would translate well into a tattoo. I didn’t want anything too complicated, you know? Something clean and bold. Finally, I settled on this one image of him throwing a right hand. It just looked powerful and dynamic.
Next up: finding a tattoo artist. This was super important. I needed someone who was not only skilled but also understood what I was going for. I asked around, looked at portfolios online, and eventually found this artist at a shop downtown. His work was amazing, especially his black and grey stuff. I knew he’d nail it.
So, I booked an appointment and went in for a consultation. Showed him the image, explained what I wanted, and we talked about size and placement. We decided on putting it on my upper arm. Good spot, not too hidden, not too obvious. The artist was really cool, gave me some suggestions on how to make it even better, and we booked the actual tattoo session.
The day of the tattoo… man, I was nervous! I’ve got a few other tattoos, but this one felt different. Bigger, more meaningful, I guess. I got to the shop, the artist had the stencil ready, and we got to work. He prepped my arm, slapped on the stencil, and then… buzzzzzzz.
Okay, let’s be real, it hurt. Especially around the elbow and shoulder. But I just focused on the image in my head, thought about Berlanga knocking dudes out, and powered through it. The artist was awesome, kept checking in on me, making sure I was okay. We took a few breaks, chatted about boxing, and before I knew it, it was done!
And dude, when I saw it in the mirror… I was blown away! It looked even better than I imagined. The artist really captured the power and intensity of the image. The lines were clean, the shading was perfect. I was so stoked.
I paid up, tipped well (gotta take care of your artists!), and walked out of the shop feeling like a total badass. Now I’ve got a permanent reminder of one of my favorite fighters on my arm. No regrets!
Taking Care of It: The artist gave me all the instructions for aftercare. Keep it clean, keep it moisturized, avoid the sun. I followed everything to the letter. And now, it’s healed up perfectly.
- Kept it wrapped for the first few hours.
- Washed it gently with antibacterial soap.
- Applied a thin layer of unscented lotion.
So, yeah, that’s the story of my Edgar Berlanga tattoo. A bit crazy? Maybe. But I love it. What do you guys think?
