Today, I wanted to try something new – swimming with my models. I’ve been working on these plastic figures for a while now, painting them and making them look all cool and stuff. And I thought, why not take them for a dip?

First, I filled up the bathtub with some lukewarm water. Not too hot, not too cold, just right. Then, I grabbed my models – a bunch of them, I didn’t count. I just took whatever was on my desk.
Getting Ready to Swim
- Gathered all the models I wanted to “swim.”
- Made sure the bathtub was clean. No one wants to swim in a dirty tub, right?
- Slowly added the water, checking the temperature with my hand.
I carefully placed each model into the water. Some floated like little boats, which was pretty neat. Others sank to the bottom like rocks. It was kind of funny to watch.
The Big Swim
- Started by gently pushing the floating models around.
- Used a straw to blow bubbles and create some waves. The models were bobbing up and down – it was like they were really swimming!
- For the sunken models, I tried to pick them up and make them “swim” by moving them around with my fingers.
Honestly, it was a bit silly, but I had a good time. The models looked kind of different underwater. The colors seemed a bit muted, and the water made them look like they were in a whole different world.
After the Swim
- Took all the models out of the water.
- Laid them out on a towel to dry.
- Wiped down each one to make sure there was no water left in the little cracks.
After they were all dry, I put them back on my shelf. They looked just as good as before, maybe even a little bit cooler after their underwater adventure. Now, every time I look at my models, I will think of them swimming with me. I might do it again sometime, it was a fun, little experiment!
So, yeah, that’s my story about swimming with my models. It’s not something you hear every day, but hey, life’s too short to not try weird and fun things, right?
