Hey guys, I’m back! Today, I decided to do something a bit different – I wanted to learn how to draw a tie. It sounds simple, right? Well, let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey.

I started by looking up some videos and tutorials online. I found a few step-by-step guides, and they looked easy enough. So, I grabbed my sketchbook and pencil, feeling all confident.
Getting Started
- First, I drew a small, kind of like a triangle shape for the knot. It’s easy, just try.
- Then, I tried to draw the long, main part of the tie. And this is where things got tricky. I drew a long strip, make it looks like hanging down.
- I also added a small triangle under the knot, so it is symmetrical.
- I erased a bit here and there, trying to make it look more like a tie and less like a weird blob.
- Then I tried to add some lines and shade it, to see what it looks like.
After a few tries, I finally got something that resembled a tie. It wasn’t perfect, but hey, it was a start! I kept practicing, drawing tie after tie, each one getting a little better than the last.
I realized that the key is to start simple and not to be afraid to mess up. And to keep practicing! So, if you’re thinking about trying to draw a tie, just go for it! You might surprise yourself. I learned a few tricks along the way, and it was actually kind of fun.
Anyway, that’s it for my little drawing adventure today. Hope you guys enjoyed hearing about it. Catch you in the next one!
