And then there’s this dude, Hulk, who used to be a big deal in comics but isn’t as popular anymore. But get this – he’s apparently a massive idol over in China. People there are all about him, going to the gym to be like him, the whole nine yards. It got me thinking, what if there was this football club, Hulk FC, that somehow brought all these things together?
I started messing around with the idea, thinking about what this club would be like. First off, it would have to be based somewhere that really loves football, but maybe isn’t all about the usual big-name European clubs. So I thought, why not somewhere like Greece? They’ve got Olympiacos, which is huge there, and they’re always in those European competitions. That could be a good starting point.
Then I imagined Hulk FC being this team that’s all about raw power and passion, kind of like Hulk himself. They’d play a super aggressive, physical game that would get the fans hyped up. I pictured the players all being these huge, intimidating guys, like they’d just stepped out of a comic book.
- The fans would be insane, too. Like, imagine the most hardcore football supporters you can think of, but even more intense.
- The stadium would be this crazy, colorful place, with murals of Hulk and other comic book heroes all over the walls.

I started sketching out some logos and uniform designs. I was thinking lots of green and purple, maybe with some ripped-up fabric effects to make it look like the players were about to burst out of their shirts. It was all pretty over-the-top, but that’s the whole point, right?
Now, I know this is all just a fun little thought experiment. I mean I get that football is massive because it’s easy to play, it’s got this huge global reach, and it’s super emotional, this whole thing is a bit out there. But it was a blast to think about. And who knows, maybe one day we’ll see a team like Hulk FC out there, tearing up the field and bringing some comic book energy to the beautiful game.
