Okay, so I’ve been messing around with computers for a while, and I recently got my hands on some stuff to play with what people are calling the “Intel 15th gen.” It’s not officially out yet, but there’s a lot of buzz, and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

Getting Started
First thing I did was try to find some information. I mean, before I even think about touching hardware, I need to know what I’m dealing with. I scoured the internet, looking for leaks, rumors, anything. It was a bit like being a detective, piecing together clues.
The Hardware Hunt
Then came the hard part – actually getting the parts. This was tricky. Since it’s not released, you can’t just walk into a store. I spent days checking online forums, and other marketplaces. Finally, I found someone willing to sell me some pre-release hardware. I think it must to be Engineering Samples or something like that.
Putting It Together
Once I had the parts, I started to build. It was like any other PC build, really. I got a compatible motherboard (that was another hunt!), RAM, storage, the usual stuff. I made sure to double-check everything, because I didn’t want to fry some super rare, unreleased CPU!
- Checked the motherboard compatibility about a hundred times.
- Installed the CPU very, very carefully.
- Added the RAM, making sure it was in the right slots.
- Connected the storage and power supply.
- Held my breath and pressed the power button.
First Boot and Testing
It booted! I was so relieved. I installed a fresh copy of Windows and started running some benchmarks. I mean, that’s the whole point, right? To see how it performs. I pushed it hard with some games and some heavy-duty software, just to see what it could handle.
My Thoughts (So Far)
Honestly, it’s pretty impressive. It’s definitely faster than the current stuff. The games I played ran smoother, and the software I used felt snappier. I am still doing lots of tests and check, It’s still early days, and I’ve got a lot more testing to do, but my first impressions are good. Very good.

This whole thing has been a fun little adventure. It’s cool to get a sneak peek at what’s coming next in the tech world. I plan on keeping this thing running and seeing what else I can learn about it. Maybe I’ll share more updates later!
