Okay, so I was messing around online the other day, trying to find some good pics of that jockey, Irad Ortiz Jr. You know, the guy who’s like, a total rockstar on the racetrack? Yeah, that one.

First, I just did a simple Google search, just typed in “Irad Ortiz Jr. png”. I wanted some images with transparent backgrounds, you know, the ones you can slap onto any background and they look good. PNGs are perfect for that.
My goal was to find some high-quality action shots or maybe even some portraits I could use for a project I’m working on.
- So, the search results popped up, and I started browsing. A bunch of different websites had photos of him. Some were from, like, Getty Images, which I know usually has good stuff.
- I also saw some results from racing news sites and even the New York State Gaming Commission—they had that bit about a suspension he got once. Not what I was looking for, but hey, interesting.
- There were a few shots of him accepting trophies, posing with people after a win, that kind of thing. Those were okay, but I wanted something more… dynamic.
- I dug a little deeper, checking out a few different sites. I found one that was all about horse racing results and stats, and they had a whole section on Irad Ortiz Jr. Top horses he’s ridden, his biography, you name it. Still no perfect PNG, though.
Then, I had an idea. I decided to focus on images from that Florida Derby he won back in March. There had to be some good action shots from that race, right?
I narrowed my search and boom! Found some great photos of him riding in the race, looking super focused and intense. They weren’t all PNGs, but there were a few in there that would work perfectly.
I ended up downloading a few different options. I figure I can always edit them later if I need to. Maybe I’ll remove the background from one of the action shots to make it a PNG myself.

Anyway, that’s how my little search for Irad Ortiz Jr. pics went down. I didn’t realize there was so much info out there about him! It was a fun little adventure, and I got some solid images to work with, too. Mission accomplished!
