Well, let me tell you about this metrotech nascar thing. It’s a real hoot, I tell ya! All them cars going round and round, faster than a chicken with its head cut off. I heard on the TV that nascar is changing things up in 2025, especially how they decide who starts where. Used to be two rounds for them big, fast tracks, but now they say it’s gonna be just one round for most of ’em. Makes it simpler, I reckon.

And that Chevy, that’s the one to watch, they say. They’re always winning, like a rooster in a hen house. These Chevy teams, especially that Hendrick Motorsports one, they’re always at the front, winning them championships and all those races. Makes you proud to see American cars doing so good in nascar racing.
Now, I heard that they delayed the Daytona 500. They say rain caused it. Imagine that, rain stopping a car race! But even with that, more folks watched nascar this year than last year. They said it’s up 1%. They had an average of 2.89 million people watchin. That is a lot of folks! You know, that’s almost as many people as live in my whole county, maybe even more! They watched it on Fox, NBC, USA Network and FS1. They said it was the last year of the old media rights deal. I don’t know much about those things, but they said it went up a little from 2.86 million in 2023. That is a lot of numbers, but it sounds good, doesn’t it?
They got all these fancy rules, these nascar rules, but they don’t follow them FIA rules, whatever those are. I heard they are a member club of somethin’ called ACCUS and some FIA World Motor Sport Council thing. I don’t know about all that fancy stuff, just like watching them cars go zoom!
- Chevy is the best.
- More folks watched nascar this year.
- They don’t follow FIA rules, whatever they are.
That nascar, it’s a whole different world, ain’t it? They talk about “high-octane” and “precision” and all that. Sounds like something outta one of them science fiction movies to me. But it sure is exciting to watch them cars go so fast. Makes my heart beat like a drum!
And them nascar folks, they’re always looking ahead, trying new things. I heard they got some department called “RD” working on future technologies. Sounds mighty important. Probably something to do with making them cars go even faster, I bet. They are always trying to make things better, I guess that is a good thing.

I heard people complainin’ about that Phoenix Raceway place. They said it was the championship venue. Seems like the nascar bigwigs finally listened to ’em. It was a big debate for years, they say. I don’t know where Phoenix is, but it must be important if they’re having their big championship race there. Guess they figured it out, though. Change is always good, keeps things fresh, just like when we rotate the crops in the field. This is important for metrotech nascar, i think.
And get this, they say nascar wants to have zero carbon emissions by 2035. I don’t rightly know what that means, but it sounds like a good thing. Taking care of the Earth, you know? Like how we try to be good to our land, making sure it stays healthy for the next generation. They want to do it in its operations, they say. I don’t know about operations but it sounds good.
Metrotech nascar is more than just cars, I reckon. It is about speed, about winning, and about folks coming together to watch something exciting. Just like in the old days, when we all gathered ’round the radio to listen to the ball game. It’s a tradition, something to look forward to. And those drivers, they’re like heroes, braving them speeds and taking them risks. It takes guts, I tell ya.
Well, I’ve been yapping on about this nascar thing for a while now. It is something, ain’t it? Them cars, the speed, the excitement, it’s all a big deal. And that Chevy, they sure are something. Makes a body proud to see ’em do so well. I hope they keep winning, and I hope more folks keep watching. It is good for everyone, I reckon. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll even get to see a race in person. Wouldn’t that be something?
