Alright, let’s talk about this young fella, Rodrigo Huescas. Don’t know much about fancy football, but I heard folks chatterin’ ’bout him, so I figured I’d piece together what I could.

Now, this Rodrigo, he’s a young whippersnapper, born in 2003, September 18th, to be exact. Seems like just yesterday he was in diapers, and now he’s kickin’ a ball for a livin’. They say he’s Mexican, plays football professionally, like, for real real. He’s one of them “wingers” or “right-backs,” whatever that means. Sounds like he runs around a lot on the side of the field, I guess.
He used to play for some team called Cruz Azul. They won somethin’ called a Supercopa, somethin’ fancy-schmancy against another team called Atlas back in 2022. Good for them, I say. Winning’s always good, no matter what you’re doin’, be it farmin’ or kickin’ a ball.
- Club Career: So, Rodrigo, he started out with that Cruz Azul, right? Then, in July 2024, things changed. Big time. He packed his bags and went off to some place called Denmark. Cold up there, I hear. Joined a club called Copenhagen. Heard they’re a pretty big deal over there, won a bunch of those league thingamajigs, like, fifteen of ’em. Must be good, huh? Folks say it’s the most important club in Denmark.
- International Career: And get this, the boy even got to play for Mexico’s national team! First time was in May 2024, against Bolivia. They won, one to nothin’. Good on ya, Rodrigo! Represents the whole country, that’s gotta be somethin’. Imagine, a little boy growin’ up, kickin’ a ball in the dirt, and then one day he’s playin’ for his whole country! Makes you think, huh?
Now, before he went off to Denmark, he played one last game for Cruz Azul, in the Apertura 2024. They won that one too, one to nothin’, against Mazatlan. Seemed like a good send-off, I reckon.
But, lemme tell ya, things ain’t always easy for this Rodrigo fella. I heard some folks sayin’ he’s gettin’ a “raw deal.” Apparently, there’s this other fella, Antuna, who plays the same spot as him and gets all the playin’ time. Poor Rodrigo, just sittin’ on the bench, twiddlin’ his thumbs. Reminds me of my chickens, all cooped up, while the rooster gets to strut around. But hey, that’s life, gotta fight for your place, just like them chickens fight for scraps.
There’s also a lot of buzz around him, like teams in Netherlands and Germany are lookin’ at him. Some team called PSV Eindhoven is talkin’ to his old team, Cruz Azul, offerin’ money, like 3 million euros or somethin’. That’s a whole lotta money, more than I’ve seen in my whole life! And there’s even talk of some other teams from Germany, the Bundesliga, wantin’ him too. Seems like everyone wants a piece of this Rodrigo fella.

Rodrigo Huescas, young Mexican footballer, playin’ in Denmark. From Cruz Azul to Copenhagen, representin’ Mexico on the national team. He’s a winger, a right-back, sittin’ on the bench sometimes, but still got folks talkin’. Big teams wantin’ him, money bein’ thrown around. It’s a whole different world than what I know, but it sounds like this boy is goin’ places. Just gotta keep his head on straight, work hard, and not let all that fancy talk get to him.
Now, some folks say he’s a big talent, this “extremely talented young right wing” they call him. And I guess they’re right, seein’ as how all these big teams are chasin’ after him. But talent ain’t everything, you know? You gotta have heart, gotta have grit. Gotta be willin’ to work hard, even when things get tough. That’s what separates the wheat from the chaff, as they say.
So, there ya have it. What I know about Rodrigo Huescas. Not much, maybe, but enough to tell you he’s a young fella with a bright future, if he plays his cards right. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll see him on TV, kickin’ that ball around, and I can say, “Hey, I heard about that boy once, wrote a little somethin’ ’bout him too.” Wouldn’t that be somethin’? Just a simple old woman, talkin’ ’bout a fancy footballer.
Remember, this here Rodrigo fella is just startin’ out. He’s got a long way to go, lots to learn. But he’s got potential, that’s for sure. And in this world, potential is a powerful thing. Just gotta use it right.
So, keep an eye on that name, Rodrigo Huescas. You might be hearin’ a lot more about him in the years to come. And who knows, maybe he’ll even bring home some trophies for Mexico, or Copenhagen, or wherever he ends up. That’d be somethin’ to be proud of, wouldn’t it?
