Alright, let’s talk about my time with the 2013 Ninja 300. I got this bike a while back, and I’ve had a blast with it. I wanted to share my experiences, what I did with it, and how it all turned out.

Getting Started
First off, I got my hands on this Ninja 300. It’s a neat little bike, powered by a 296cc engine. I remember the first time I fired it up. It felt pretty powerful for its size, putting out about 38.88 bhp, and the torque was decent at 26.1 Nm. It was exciting, to say the least. When I got it, the first thing I noticed was the dual disc brakes, both front and rear. Felt pretty safe.
Riding and Handling
I started riding it around town. The acceleration was pretty impressive. I could get from 0 to 60 mph in about 5.6 seconds. That’s quick! It felt really responsive. I pushed it a bit more, and on the open road, I managed to hit its top speed, which was around 112 mph (180 km/h). It was thrilling, to be honest. I could get some serious speed in the quarter-mile. I didn’t time it myself but it’s about 14.5 seconds or so.
Cruising was smooth. I noticed that between 35-65 mph, I could cruise comfortably under 7k RPM. It didn’t feel like it was struggling at all. I did notice the taller final gearing, that’s thanks to that 42-tooth rear sprocket. Made it feel way more relaxed than those 250R models.
Braking and Safety
The braking was solid. The ABS model I had could stop from 60 to 0 mph in about 124.6 to 135 feet. I tested it out a few times in a safe area, and it felt really secure. The disc brakes did a great job, and I never felt like I was losing control.
Maintenance and Mods
-
Maintenance was straightforward. I kept up with the regular oil changes and checks. The engine was pretty reliable, and I didn’t run into any major issues. Kawasaki made this bike pretty well and it is built to last.
-
I did a few minor mods to personalize it. Nothing too crazy, just some aesthetic tweaks and a few performance upgrades. I added a slip-on exhaust to give it a bit more growl. It sounded awesome. I also changed the levers and grips to make it more comfortable for longer rides.
Overall Experience
Honestly, the Ninja 300 has been a fantastic bike. It’s got the power, the handling, and the looks. It’s been reliable and fun to ride. I’ve taken it on long trips, short commutes, and everything in between. This bike is not only agile, but also has some serious oomph to it. The manufacturer, Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp, they’ve been around since ’97, you know, making all sorts of vehicles like ATVs and jet skis, they really know their stuff.
I’ve enjoyed every moment with it. I remember this one time I was riding through some twisty roads, and the bike handled like a dream. It was so responsive and agile. I felt like I could lean into the corners with ease. It was a blast.
If you’re thinking about getting a bike, the Ninja 300 is definitely worth considering. It’s a great all-around bike that’s perfect for both beginners and experienced riders. I’ve had a lot of fun with mine, and I’m sure you will too.
So yeah, that’s my story with the 2013 Ninja 300. It’s been a great ride, and I wanted to share my experience with you all. Hope you found it interesting and maybe a little bit helpful. Ride safe!
