Okay, so I’ve been seeing some chatter online about Tidal, and it got me thinking… is that even still a thing? I remember when it first launched, it was all about high-fidelity audio and artist ownership. I decided to check it out.
Diving Back In
First things first, I headed over to their * has subscription plans.I noticed, they still offer a HiFi and a HiFi Plus plan.
I opted for the HiFi Plus plan. I don’t need all those extra features.I clicked through the sign-up process, which was pretty standard.
Exploring the App
Once I was in, I downloaded the app on my phone. I opened it up and, I gotta say, it looked pretty slick. Very clean, modern interface. I started browsing around, checking out some of my favorite artists.

- There’s a certain richness and depth to the audio.
- It’s like hearing details you’ve never noticed before.
The Verdict?
So, is Tidal still a thing? Yeah, it definitely is. It is a good experience about sound and * is nice for music.
