Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with “jake white,”. I’d heard the name, but didn’t really know what it was about, so I figured, let’s give it a shot and see what happens.

First, I googled it, trying to get a basic idea. I found it’s some kind of, musical artist? That much I figured out. Looks like there is some stuff to explore here, so, let’s dig in!
Getting Started
- Opened Spotify. It is my first option to look for any kind of music.
- Typed “jake white” into the search bar.
- A bunch of stuff popped up – albums, singles, you name it.
Listening and Exploring
I picked the first album that showed up which seemed interesting and hit * sound was, well, different than what I normally listen to. It’s kinda raw, very guitar-heavy. I definitely heard some blues influence in there, which was cool.
While I was listening, I scrolled through the “About” section. It gave some background on his career. Seemed interesting, but honestly, the music was doing more talking than the bio.
I jumped around to different tracks, trying to get a feel for the range. Some songs were super energetic, others more mellow. It was a mixed bag, but in a good way. It kept things interesting.
My Thoughts So Far
After listening for a while, I realized this wasn’t something I’d probably put on repeat, but I definitely appreciated it. It’s got a real, authentic vibe, and I can see why people would be into it.

It is a new music that I have never been exposed to before, it’s fun to explore some new music by myself.
I saved a couple of the songs that stood out to me to a playlist. You know, for those times when I’m feeling adventurous and want something different.
Overall, it was a fun little experiment. I went in knowing nothing, and came out with a little more musical knowledge. I might not be a die-hard fan, but I can respect the artistry. It is a successful try today!
