Oh man, today I want to talk about something that’s been hitting me pretty hard recently. It’s about a guy named Jonathan Hamarik.
So, I was scrolling through my feed the other day, just catching up on stuff, and I saw this post. It said, “We are sad to announce that Jonathan Hamarik (37 Years old), passed away. Leave your condolences.” It stopped me in my tracks. 37 years old, that’s way too young. I didn’t know him personally, but it just struck a chord, you know?
I started digging a little deeper. Found out that people were celebrating his life, sharing memories about him. There’s this page, celebrating the life of Jonathan C. Hamarik (1987-2024) from Akron, OH. It’s filled with messages from people who knew him, talking about the kind of person he was. It’s heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.
Then I stumbled upon some other stuff, like this thing about Decimated, whatever that is, and new features, improvements. Seemed unrelated at first, but I guess it’s something he might’ve been into or worked on. It’s like piecing together fragments of someone’s life, trying to get a sense of who they were.
I also found his social media, saw he had 265 followers and was following 469 people. Just numbers, but each one represents a connection, a relationship, a part of his life.
There was another thing too, about a members-only video. First-ever one, they said. It’s supposed to be daily videos of life behind the scenes, what they are up to. I guess Jonathan was part of this “they”. It’s like getting a glimpse into his world, even if it’s just a small one.
And then there’s this obituary search thing, for the Hamarik family. Found one obituary and memoriam. It’s just… it’s a lot to take in. It’s weird, learning about someone’s life after they’re gone. It makes you think about your own life, your own connections, your own mortality.
Here’s what I did:
- Saw a post about Jonathan Hamarik passing away.
- Felt really sad and started looking for more information.
- Read an obituary and some memories about him.
- Checked out a social media profile and some other random stuff that seemed connected.
- Found a thing about a “members-only” video he might have been a part of.
- Looked at a family obituary search result.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this. It’s been on my mind. Rest in peace, Jonathan Hamarik. You left a mark on this world, even on people who never met you.
In the end
I guess what I’m trying to say is, life is short. Cherish the people around you, make those connections, and live your life to the fullest. You never know when it’s your time to go. This whole thing with Jonathan, it just made me realize that all over again.
