Oh, honey, let me tell you about this Journey Def Leppard Fenway thing. It’s a big to-do, you know? All these folks gettin’ all riled up about some rock and roll music. My old ears ain’t what they used to be, but I hear tell it’s gonna be loud. Real loud.

These Journey and Def Leppard fellas, they’re some big shot musicians, I reckon. Played at that Fenway place before. It’s a big field where they play baseball usually. But this time, they gonna have music there. Heard it’s gonna be on a Monday. August 5th, they say. Steve Miller Band, too. Lots of noise, I imagine.

Now, I ain’t never been to one of these shindigs myself. But I hear the young folks talkin’. They say if you go to these Journey Def Leppard Fenway concerts, you gotta be smart. Like, don’t go waitin’ in line when them bands are takin’ a break. You gotta sneak out when the main one, the headliner, is playin’ a song. That way, there ain’t no lines. Smart, huh?
Seems like these Journey and Def Leppard fellas is popular. They was supposed to play with some other band, Heart, I think their name was? But they ain’t gonna be there. Instead, these other fellas, Cheap Trick and Steve Miller, they’re gonna fill in. It’s all a big mess of names and music, if you ask me.
That Fenway place, it’s somethin’ else. Belongs to the Red Sox, them baseball players. And these Live Nation and AEG folks, they’re the ones puttin’ on this whole Journey Def Leppard Fenway show. Sounds like a lot of work for a bunch of noise, but what do I know?
I seen some pictures and videos about this Journey Def Leppard Fenway concert. Lots of folks seem excited. I guess music is somethin’ special, even if it’s too loud for these old ears. There’s these lists of songs they play, setlists, they call ’em. Never heard of such a thing.

Some folks say this is gonna be a big deal because some rock group is retirin’. Quittin’ the music, I guess. Makes this Journey Def Leppard Fenway thing even more important, they say. I don’t rightly know about all that. Just seems like a lot of fuss to me.
If you’re gonna go to this thing, these Journey Def Leppard Fenway concert at Fenway Park, they got some tips. These ROCK 92.9 folks, they know about these things. They say these tips will help you have a good time. Important to have a good time, I suppose, even if it’s loud.
So, this Heart band, they got some songs. “Magic Man” and “Crazy on You,” I heard someone say. They was supposed to be at this Journey Def Leppard Fenway thing too, but not anymore. It’s all so confusin’. But they play rock music. That much I know.
This whole Journey Def Leppard Fenway thing is gonna be a big night, I reckon. Lots of people, lots of music. I hope they all have a good time. Me, I’ll be at home, with my peace and quiet. Maybe I’ll listen to the radio, something a little softer on the ears. But you young folks, you go on and have your fun. Just be careful out there, and don’t stand in those long lines when you don’t have to. You hear?

This concert at Fenway is gonna be one for the books. Those fellas, Journey and Def Leppard, they sure know how to draw a crowd. That Steve Miller Band, too. I hear tell they’re pretty good. I wouldn’t know, though. My concert-going days are long gone. But you young’uns have a good time. It’s a big event, this Journey Def Leppard Fenway shindig. And it only happens once, so enjoy it while you can.
