Alright, let’s talk about this fella, Kamal Shalorus. Don’t know much about fancy fightin’ or nothin’, but I heard tell he’s one of them fellers who gets in the cage and dukes it out.

Now, they call him “Prince of Persia”. Sounds mighty important, like somethin’ outta them fairy tales my grandpappy used to tell. Don’t know if he’s really a prince, but he sure looks tough enough to be one.
This Shalorus fella, he’s from Iran, a place way over yonder. He’s been fightin’ for a good long while, they say he’s 44 years old. That’s a lot of years for punchin’ and kickin’, must be a tough old rooster. He’s got a record, you know, like how many fights he won and lost. It’s somethin’ like 9 wins, 5 losses, and 2 ties. Sounds like he’s had his share of scraps.
- Wins: 9
- Losses: 5
- Ties: 2
They say he was one of the first Iranian fellers to fight in this big fightin’ thing called the UFC. Don’t know what that is, but it sounds like a big deal. His first fight there, he went up against some fella named Jim Miller. Didn’t go so well for Shalorus, lost that one by somethin’ they call TKO. Sounds like the other fella knocked him out good.
He ain’t just fought in that UFC though. He also fought in some other place called ONE Championship. Fought a fella named Ev Ting there. Don’t know who won that one, but I reckon he gave it his all. He’s what they call a “lightweight”, means he ain’t one of them big ol’ heavy fellers. He’s about 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighs around 155 pounds. Small but scrappy, like a banty rooster.
They got all sorts of numbers for these fighters, like how tall they are, how much they weigh, and when they was born. Shalorus, he was born on August 27th. Don’t know the year, but reckon he’s been around a while. They keep track of all the folks he fought too, a whole list of ’em. Fought fellas like Rafael Dos Anjos and Khabib Nurmagomedov. Big names, I guess, if you’re into that fightin’ stuff.

This fightin’ business is tough, I tell ya. All that punchin’ and kickin’, bound to get yourself hurt. But fellers like Shalorus, they keep on doin’ it. Guess they like the fightin’ or somethin’. It ain’t for the faint of heart, that’s for sure.
They got websites and things where you can look up all this stuff. All them fight records and who fought who. I don’t know nothin’ about that internet stuff, but my grandson, he’s always lookin’ at it. He showed me some of it once, all them numbers and names, made my head spin.
So, this Kamal Shalorus, the “Prince of Persia”, he’s a fighter, plain and simple. Been fightin’ a long time, fought a lot of fellas. Won some, lost some. That’s the way it goes, I reckon. He’s a tough fella, that’s for sure. You gotta be tough to get in that cage and fight. And that’s all there is to it, as far as I can tell.
Anyways, that’s what I know about this Kamal Shalorus fella. Not much, I admit, but enough to know he’s a fighter, and a tough one at that. Hope that tells ya what ya needed to know.
