Today I messed around with something called “kords”, and let me tell you, it was quite the ride. I started off knowing absolutely nothing about it, just diving in headfirst.

First, I had to figure out what these things even were. I read up a bit online and got the basic idea of how they’re put together, and what makes different groups of them unique. The information mentioned something about a short piece of music that was played twice. Each time it had different chords under it, but it was the same melody. They called that a chord progression. Cool, right?
So, I installed whatever I needed. I found some example code online and started playing around, trying to make sense of it. There were a bunch of files, and I was just trying to get things to work without really knowing what I was doing. I was like, “Okay, what does this button do?”
- I started with some basic stuff.
- Then I tried some more complex chords.
- I was just randomly putting things together and hoping for the best.
After a lot of trial and error, I finally got something that kinda sounded like music. It wasn’t great, but hey, it was a start! I spent hours on this, just experimenting and seeing what happened. I changed some numbers here, moved some lines of code there, and pressed play. Sometimes it sounded awful, sometimes it was okay. I was getting the hang of it, slowly but surely.
Then I tried creating my own chord progressions. This was the fun part! I was basically throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what stuck. I felt like a mad scientist, mixing and matching until I found something that sounded kinda cool.
I realized I was just scratching the surface, and there’s so much more to learn. It was super rewarding to see how these little changes could make such a big difference in the music.

What I did:
- Explored: Got a feel for what chords are all about.
- Experimented: Tried out different combinations to see what sounds they made.
- Created: Put together my own chord progressions from scratch.
- Learned: Figured out that even small tweaks can change everything.
It was a messy process, with lots of mistakes and dead ends, but in the end, I came out with a better understanding of kords and how they work. I’m no expert, but I definitely learned a lot today, and I’m excited to keep exploring. If you’re curious about this stuff, just jump in and start playing around. You might surprise yourself with what you can create!
