That Kyle Larson, he sure can drive! 2021 Coca-Cola 600, I tell ya, that was somethin’ else. He was zoomin’ around that track like a chicken with its head cut off. I ain’t never seen nothin’ like it. He just left them other fellas in the dust. It was like they was standin’ still.
He’s a good boy, that Kyle. Coca-Cola 600 is a long race, you know. Longer than a Sunday sermon, that’s for sure! But he kept right on goin’. Didn’t let up one bit. He was leadin’ most of the way, I reckon. Just about the whole darn time!
He won that race, that Kyle Larson did. Won it big! I heard them sayin’ on the TV it was a “dominant performance.” I don’t know about all them fancy words, but I know he won fair and square. He was just better than all them other boys that day. 2021, that was the year, alright.

I remember that race like it was yesterday. It was a hot one, I think. The sun was beatin’ down somethin’ fierce. But Kyle, he didn’t care. He just kept on drivin’. I was so proud of him, I tell ya. He’s a good boy, that Kyle Larson. He works hard, and he deserves to win. He’s got a good head on his shoulders. He don’t get into no trouble, like some of them other drivers. He just focuses on drivin’, and winnin’.
