My Little Quest for Chris Evert Pics
So, the other day, I got this idea stuck in my head. I really wanted to find some good pictures of Chris Evert. You know, the tennis legend. Don’t ask me why, sometimes these things just pop into your brain, right? I just felt like seeing some classic shots of her in action.

First thing I did, obviously, was just punch “pictures of Chris Evert” into my usual search engine. And boom! A whole flood of images came up. But, you know how it is, a lot of it was just… meh. The same old stuff, maybe a bit grainy, or not quite what I was hoping for. I was after something a little more, I guess.
I was looking for something specific, though I wasn’t even sure what at first. Maybe those classic on-court shots, you know, with the wooden rackets and the old-school tennis fashion. Or maybe some more candid stuff, not just the official press photos that everyone has seen a million times.
My Search Deepens
So, I started getting a bit more creative with my search terms. I figured just the name wasn’t going to cut it. I tried stuff like “Chris Evert 70s tennis,” “Chris Evert action shots,” “Chris Evert Wimbledon,” and even “Chris Evert Grand Slam moments.” That kind of thing. It helped a bit, started filtering out some of the noise and bringing up more interesting results.
- First, I focused on specific tournaments or years. That usually brings up more dynamic photos, rather than just portraits.
- Then, I tried looking for “Chris Evert rare photos” or “Chris Evert behind the scenes.” You’d be surprised, sometimes that unearths a few gems you haven’t seen before.
- I also played around with the image search tools themselves, filtering by type, like looking for black and white photos specifically, just to see what different vibe that would bring up.
It was a bit of a rabbit hole, I gotta admit. You start looking for one thing, and then you see another interesting photo, and click on that, and then something else catches your eye, and suddenly an hour has gone by. Classic internet stuff, happens to the best of us.

What I Ended Up With
After a fair bit of digging around, I actually managed to gather a decent little collection. Found some really cool shots from her early career, which was what I was kind of hoping for. The intensity in her eyes, even in those older photos, is just incredible. It’s amazing how you can see the focus, even back then. Totally different from today’s players in some ways.
I also stumbled upon a few where she was with other tennis stars of that era, which was pretty neat. It’s like a little time capsule. Pretty cool. Didn’t find any super, super rare, never-before-seen stuff that would make headlines, but I got a better appreciation for her whole career, just by looking through the different eras of photos. And I got the images I was sort of picturing in my head.
So yeah, that was my little adventure into the world of Chris Evert photography. Sometimes these simple searches turn into a bit of a project, but it’s kinda fun, isn’t it? Just exploring and seeing what you can find when you put a little effort in. Kept me busy for a bit, anyway!
