Okay, so I wanted to check the latest Currie Cup results today. It’s been a busy week, haven’t really kept up like I usually do.

First thing I did was grab my tablet off the coffee table. Powered it on, waited for it to connect to the Wi-Fi. You know how it is, sometimes it takes a minute.
Opened up my usual browser, the one I always use. Went straight to Google. Didn’t bother with fancy stuff, just typed in “currie cup scores” right into the search bar. Hit enter.
Got a bunch of results back, obviously. Some were live score sites, others were news articles. Scrolled down a bit. Saw some older results from last week first, had to sift through those. Some sites looked a bit cluttered, full of ads, you know?
I thought, okay, maybe I should be more specific. Went back to the search bar. This time I tried “currie cup results this weekend”. That seemed to narrow it down a bit better.
Found a link to a pretty reliable sports news site I often check for rugby stuff. Clicked on that one. Their page was much cleaner. Straight away, I saw the fixtures list and the scores.

Finding the Specifics
It was laid out pretty clearly:
- Match A: Team X vs Team Y – Score
- Match B: Team Z vs Team W – Score
Looked through the scores for the games played over the last couple of days. Found the match I was most interested in. Good result for my team, thankfully! Always a relief.
Also checked the overall log standings table they had on the same page. Wanted to see how the points were stacking up. It’s getting tight towards the top end, looks like the next few weeks will be interesting.
So yeah, that was my process. Just a quick search, a bit of scrolling, and then found what I needed on a decent site. Took maybe five minutes total. Glad I checked, now I’m up to speed again.
