Today I want to talk about a tennis player that I followed recently, Marco Trungelliti. I found this guy’s performance on the court to be quite interesting, so I did a little digging.

First, I checked out his profile on the ATP Tour website. This gave me a good overview of his career, including his current ranking, news, and playing activity. I also got some basic biographical information, like his coach, stats, and win-loss record. Pretty standard stuff.
Next, I moved on to look at his match history and results. I used a website called Flashscore to get detailed information on his recent matches, including scores and opponents. It was interesting to see how he performed against different players and on different surfaces. This site even offers the current ATP/WTA ranking, and rankings history. That’s so cool, I can get all I want here.
- Checking his ranking history.
- Looking at his match records per season and surface.
- Viewing his point-by-point match history.
I also found out that he has won 12 career titles so far. Not bad at all! I wanted to know more about those wins, so I looked at his tournament draws to see who he played against in the finals. I also glanced at his Instagram, but it didn’t have much related to his tennis career.
Then I found a piece of news mentioning his best singles ranking of world number 112 on March 4, 2019. Wow, what an achievement! It seems like he’s been around for a while, with a record from April 1, 2013.
My main focus was to understand his performance trends. I wanted to see if he was consistent or if he had ups and downs. Looking at his match results over time gave me a good sense of that. I also noticed his performance on different surfaces, which helped me understand his strengths and weaknesses.

Overall, it was a pretty straightforward process. I gathered information from a few different sources to get a complete picture of Marco Trungelliti’s career. It wasn’t anything too complicated, just a bit of online research. This guy’s pretty good. I’ll keep an eye on him in future matches!
