Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with something a bit different, and the name “Maria Alejandra Marquez” popped into my head. Don’t ask me why, it just did. So, I started digging around to see what I could find and how I could play with this.

First, I just plugged the name into Google to see what would come up. You know, the usual stuff: social media profiles, maybe some articles if she’s a public figure, that sort of thing. It’s always interesting to see what kind of digital footprint people have. The results are interesting: social media, news, etc.
Then I started to do a simple search on Facebook. Typed in “Maria Alejandra Marquez” in the search bar. Loads of profiles came up, which is pretty standard for a name that’s not super unique. I scrolled through a few, just to get a sense of who these Maria Alejandra Marquezes are. You see all sorts of folks – different ages, locations, jobs. It is a little bit amazing how many people share a name.
Here are the things I tried to do in my experiment:
- Social Media Deep Dive: I decided to go beyond Facebook. I checked out LinkedIn, you know, for the professional side of things. Turns out, there are a bunch of Maria Alejandra Marquezes on LinkedIn too. I clicked on a few profiles, looked at their work experience, education, that kind of stuff. It is cool to see the different paths people take.
- Google Search beyond page one: Normally I just skim the first page of Google results, but this time I went a bit deeper. I clicked through a few pages, looking for anything interesting or unusual. You sometimes find some hidden gems that way, like an old blog post or a mention in a local news article.
- Image search: This one is always fun. I did a Google Image search for “Maria Alejandra Marquez” to see if any common pictures showed up. You get a lot of profile pics from social media, of course. It is kind of a visual representation of the different people who share this name.
Finally, I decided to get some inspiration about Award events. It looks like there’s something called the “Day Award” that happens every year. It doesn’t look like my “Maria Alejandra Marquez” was nominated, but you never know, maybe next year, haha.
So, that’s how I spent my afternoon – exploring the digital world of “Maria Alejandra Marquez”. It’s kind of a fun little experiment to see what you can find out there. You realize how much info is publicly available and how many people share the same name. It is a good reminder to be mindful of your own online presence too!
