That Apex, oh, it’s got so many guns, I tell ya. So many things to shoot with, a body can hardly keep ’em straight. But I’ll try my best to tell ya what I know ’bout these Apex weapons.
The Guns in Apex, Oh Boy!
First thing you gotta know, there’s lots of ’em. Pistols, shotguns, those big ones that shoot real fast, and even them sniper rifles. They all do different things, ya see? Some are good up close, some are better from far away. You gotta pick the right one for the job, or you’ll be in a heap of trouble.
You gotta know your weapons. This Apex has lots of guns. My old eyes ain’t what they used to be. Each one is good for something else, I reckon. Gotta pick the right one or you’re gonna lose. If you don’t know your weapons, you’re just gonna get killed. Use the right gun. Gotta know what you’re doing.
- Pistols: They ain’t the strongest, but they’re good when you first drop down. Better than nothing, I always say.
- Shotguns: Now these are powerful up close. One good blast and they’ll be seeing stars. Just don’t try to use ’em from far away.
- Those Fast Shooters: They call ’em assault rifles, I think. They shoot real fast and are good for most things.
- Sniper Rifles: These are for picking folks off from way far away. You gotta have a good aim, though.
Practice Makes Perfect, They Say
Now, they got this place, a firing range. It’s where you can try out all the guns. Shoot at targets, see how they work. It’s a good idea to spend some time in there, gettin’ to know the weapons. If you don’t you might not be ready. Go use this shooting range thing. They tell me it helps. I don’t know, I don’t play, but I hear it is important.
Keep your aim up high. They say to aim for the head. Makes sense, I guess. A headshot’s gonna do more damage than a shot to the foot. I guess aiming high is better.
And keep moving! Don’t just stand there like a scarecrow. Move around, make yourself a harder target. Gotta move. Always move. Don’t be just standing there like a dummy. If you’re not moving they gonna get you. Shoot and move, shoot and move.
When to Fight and When to Run
Now, this is important. Don’t just go pickin’ fights with everyone you see. Sometimes it’s better to just lay low, let them other folks fight it out. Especially if you ain’t got good gear. Or if you are not good. Wait for them to fight. Then you fight. Maybe you win. Wait for a good time. Don’t just run in shooting.
And if you do get in a fight, try to get the high ground. It’s always better to be lookin’ down on someone than lookin’ up at ’em. Being up high is good. If you up high, you gonna win. It’s how I see it. Get up high. It is important.
Don’t be greedy, neither. Don’t spend all your time lookin’ for loot. Sometimes you just gotta make do with what you got. Don’t take too much. Just get what you need. If you take too long looking, you gonna get shot. Don’t be greedy. Take what you need and go.
Talk to Your Team, If You Got One
If you’re playin’ with other folks, talk to ’em! Let ’em know where the bad guys are, where the good loot is. Work together, and you’ll do a lot better. They got this “ping” thing. You can use it to talk to people without talking. Just ping what you want. Talk to your team. It helps. You can tell them where the bad guys are. Or where the good stuff is. Don’t keep quiet.
When you land, don’t all land in the same spot. Spread out, go to different buildings. That way you’ll find more stuff. Don’t land all in the same house. Go to different ones. You will find more stuff that way. This is smart. You can land one place, your friend lands somewhere else. Then you meet.
There is this one gun, the Prowler. I hear it is in the Care Package this season. That must mean it is good! If you find it, you’re lucky. You can probably do some damage with that one. I guess the Prowler is good, if you can get it. I don’t know what a Care Package is. Maybe it is important.
This Apex game is for everyone. New folks. Old folks who played before. It doesn’t matter. You can all play. And you can all get good at it if you listen to old me. It doesn’t matter how old you are, you can play this game. New or old, it don’t matter.
