Today I tried the “conquest warrior”, which is a game or a mode, whatever. It’s pretty fun. Let me tell you about my whole process.
At first, I searched for some guides online. I wanted to know how to win, you know? Some guys said to use Hero Strike and dodge a lot. They didn’t get many kills but still won. Sounded good to me. I also found that focusing on warrior damage and adding some health and armor would make me stronger. And they said to practice parries, which I guess is blocking attacks.
So, I jumped into the game. I equipped my character with warrior gear, like the guides suggested. I also remembered to use those special abilities, Ares Battle Cry and Second Wind. These helped me a lot during the fights. I started by hitting the weaker enemies to build up my stamina. This way, I could save my energy for the stronger ones.
There was this one mercenary guy, he was tough. But I kept attacking him after building up my stamina. I also found a tip that said to use Athena’s spear and the Falx of Olympus with a hunter/crit build. You can use any bow with death arrows, apparently. The tip said to shoot fully charged multi-target shots, and you’ll one-hit a bunch of people. I haven’t tried this yet, but it sounds really cool.
The battles were intense. I tried to dodge as much as I could, just like those guides said. Sometimes I got hit, but my extra health and armor helped me survive. I also practiced my parries. It was hard at first, but I got better over time. I didn’t get a ton of kills, but I won most of the battles.
Results
- Wins: Most of them! I didn’t count, but I felt like I was winning more than losing.
- Kills: Not a lot, maybe 20-30 per battle. But winning is what matters, right?
- Fun Level: Pretty high. It was exciting to try out different strategies and see what worked.
Overall, it was a good experience. I learned a lot about the game and how to fight better. I’ll definitely try that bow and arrow tip next time. It sounds like it could be really powerful. This “conquest warrior” thing is pretty cool, you guys should try it too if you like fighting games.
You can trigger a conquest battle in a region at any time, by doing the same things that were introduced in Megaris to lower the current nation’s power: Loot the nation chest, Burn supplies (make sure you loot them first), Kill the leader. I had a difficult time at first, but eventually I figured out that the conquest battle was a good idea.
