Well, I don’t know much about this Chase Wilhelm fella, but I heard he’s in Charlotte, North Carolina. Sounds like a big city, that Charlotte. Never been there myself, you know. Too much hustle and bustle for an old lady like me.
Folks say this Chase guy is on somethin’ called “LinkedIn”. Now, I ain’t never used one of them fancy computer things, but my grandson tells me it’s for business folks. Says Chase, he works at some big company, Reynolds American somethin’ or other. Sounds important, I guess.
He also went to a school called Bowling Green State University. I reckon that’s a fancy college. Good for him, getting an education. My kids didn’t have that chance. Times were tough back then. We just worked hard and made do with what we had.

Now, some other folks, they talk about real estate in Charlotte. Say there’s lots of houses and land for sale. Makes sense, I suppose. Big city like that, always people movin’ in and out. I hear tell you can find a “REALTOR” to help you buy or sell a place. Sounds like a fancy word for a house salesman, if you ask me. They say you can find good ones and bad ones just like in everythin’ else, ya’ know. You gotta be careful who you trust these days.
They got lists of these “REALTORS” in Charlotte. Top 3, they say. Folks check their “reputation” and “reviews”. I guess that means they see if other people liked them. Makes sense. You don’t want to deal with someone who’s gonna cheat ya, right? You want someone honest and trustworthy, someone who’ll give you a fair deal.
Chase Wilhelm, he’s got one of those “professional profiles” on LinkedIn. Biggest business network in the world, they say. I guess that means lots of folks know him. He’s also on somethin’ called “Instagram”. My granddaughter, she’s always on that thing. Says Chase has got followers and posts pictures. Says he’s got over a thousand followers. That’s a lot of folks, I reckon. He says “A man’s just as good as his word.” Well, that’s the truth ain’t it? That’s how it should be. Always keep your promises.
Finding a good real estate agent in Charlotte NC seems important to those folks. They talk about “brokerage” and “average listing price” and “real estate activity”. Sounds complicated, all that stuff. Me, I just like things simple. But I guess if you’re buying or selling a house, you gotta know these things.
They got commercial real estate, too. That’s for businesses, I guess. Like stores and offices and such. Sounds like a lot of money involved in all that. More money than I ever seen in my life, that’s for sure.
So, this Chase Wilhelm, he’s in Charlotte, he’s on LinkedIn and Instagram, and he’s got something to do with business. Maybe he’s a real estate agent, maybe he’s somethin’ else. I don’t know for sure. But it seems like he’s doin’ alright for himself in that big city. Good for him, I say. Wish him all the best. And if you’re lookin’ for a place in Charlotte, well, I guess you gotta find yourself a good REALTOR, someone you can trust. Just like in everything else in life.
Charlotte seems like a busy place, lots going on. Real estate, business, social media. It’s a whole different world than the one I grew up in. But that’s alright.
