Alright, let’s talk about this “mike papa” thing I messed around with today. So, I got this idea in my head, right? I wanted to see if I could really make some noise on social media. I mean, everyone’s always going on about going viral and getting followers and all that jazz. I figured, why not give it a shot myself?
So, I started where everyone starts these days – the usual spots like Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn. I already had my accounts, nothing fancy. I posted some stuff, you know, the usual – a couple of pictures, some thoughts, shared a few videos I liked. Nothing. Crickets. It was like I was talking to myself.
Then I thought, maybe I’m doing it wrong. I started looking up what the big shots do. I read a bunch of stuff online about “strategies” and “tactics.” Some of it made sense, some of it was just a load of, well, you know. But I did pick up a few things. Like, you gotta post regularly, engage with people, use hashtags – all that stuff. It seemed easy enough.
I started doing that. I made a schedule – yeah, a real schedule – for when to post what. I started using more hashtags, replying to comments, even on other people’s posts. I even tried making those short videos everyone’s crazy about. Let me tell you, that’s harder than it looks. You need a good camera and you need to know how to use it! You need to prepare the place you make videos. You also need to edit them. The work is really complicated and exhausting!
- First, I tried to figure out what was trending. You know, what people were actually interested in.
- Second, I tried to make my posts a bit more… me. I mean, I added my own flavor to it, my own humor.
- Third, I started following people who were into the same stuff as me. Not just the big names, but regular folks too.
- Fourth, I used the analysis tools to see what’s going on, which posts were liked by people and which were not.
Slowly, I started seeing some changes. A few more likes here, a couple of new followers there. It wasn’t much, but it was something. It was like, “Hey, people are actually seeing my stuff!”
But let me tell you, it’s a lot of work. I mean, you really gotta be on it all the time. Posting, commenting, sharing – it’s like a full-time job. And even then, there’s no guarantee you’ll hit it big. It’s a tough game. But, you know, it’s kind of fun too. You meet some interesting people, you learn new things, and you get to put yourself out there. This is so cool and makes me feel good!

I’m still figuring it all out, to be honest. I haven’t gone viral or anything – not yet, anyway. But I’m getting there. It takes a lot of time. I’ve learned a lot, and I’m still learning. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll crack the code. Or maybe not. Either way, it’s been an interesting ride.
So, yeah, that’s my “mike papa” story for today. It’s not about getting famous or anything. It’s about trying something new, pushing yourself, and seeing what you can do. And hey, if you pick up a few followers along the way, that’s not too bad either.
My suggestions
- Be yourself.
- Be patient.
- Don’t give up.
- Just keep trying.
That’s it for now, folks. Keep on keeping on!
