Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about these NASCAR ads. You know, them racin’ cars? They got stickers all over ’em, like a kid went crazy with a sticker book. Big ones, small ones, all kinds of colors. They call it “branding,” I think. Sounds fancy, but it just means they puttin’ names on stuff so folks remember who they are.

Them fellers drivin’ the cars, they got stickers on their suits too. Head to toe, practically. Looks like a buncha walkin’ billboards, if you ask me. But hey, that’s how they get the money, I reckon. Gotta pay for all that gas and tires somehow, right?
And it ain’t just the cars and drivers. Everywhere you look at them races, there’s somethin’ with a name on it. Signs as big as a barn, flags wavin’ in the wind, even the little cups they drink outta. It’s like they tryin’ to get your attention every which way you turn.
I heard tell they spendin’ a lotta money on these ads. Millions, maybe even billions! Can you imagine? That’s more money than I ever seen in my whole life. But I guess it works, ’cause folks keep buyin’ the stuff they see advertised. That’s what they tell me, anyways.
- They put ads on the cars, real big and bold.
- The drivers got ads on their suits, lookin’ like walkin’ advertisements.
- Everywhere you look at the track, there’s another ad starin’ at ya.
Now, some folks say they don’t like all them ads. They say it’s too much, too in-your-face. They call it “a cavalcade of billboards on wheels,” whatever that means. Sounds like somethin’ a city slicker would say. But me, I don’t mind it so much. It’s just part of the show, I figure. And it helps keep them races goin’, so that’s a good thing.
And it ain’t just about the big companies, you know, the ones everyone’s heard of. Lots of smaller businesses get in on the action too. Local shops, car parts places, even them folks sellin’ insurance. They put their names on the cars, or maybe just a little sign on the fence. Every little bit helps, I guess.

I heard they tryin’ to get the young folks interested too. You know, the ones always starin’ at their phones. They doin’ all kinds of fancy things, like them “marketing campaigns” they talk about. Putting the drivers front and center, askin’ ’em questions, makin’ videos. Tryin’ to make it all hip and cool, I suppose.
NASCAR sponsorships are real important, that’s for sure. They wouldn’t be able to do all this racin’ without ’em. It’s a whole lotta money, and it keeps the whole thing runnin’ like a well-oiled machine, just like them cars they drivin’. They got them big sponsors, and they got them little ones, and they all workin’ together to make it happen.
And speaking of them cars, they ain’t just regular cars, you know. They built special, just for racin’. Fast as lightning, they are. And they got them powerful engines, makin’ all that noise. It’s somethin’ else, I tell ya. You gotta see it to believe it. And hear it too, for that matter. It’ll rattle your bones!
Sometimes I wonder if them folks watchin’ the races even notice all them ads. They probably just lookin’ at the cars goin’ round and round, or maybe cheerin’ for their favorite driver. But I bet some of it sinks in, you know? They see that name over and over again, and then maybe they go buy that product next time they at the store.
So, yeah, that’s the deal with these NASCAR ads. It’s a big business, a lotta money, and a whole lotta stickers. But it’s all part of the show, and it’s what keeps them cars racin’ and them fans cheerin’. And that’s all that really matters, I reckon. They keep lookin’ for new ways to get folks attention. It ain’t just stickers anymore. They got ads on social media now too. Those internet things. It’s a whole different world from when I was young. Back then, we just had newspapers and the radio, that’s all the news and advertisement we had. But times change, I guess, and even this racin’ gotta keep up.

And no matter how fancy they get with their advertising, I still think the best part is the racin’ itself. Them cars goin’ zoom, the crowd roarin’, the smell of burnt rubber in the air… that’s what it’s all about. But I suppose the ads help pay for all that excitement, so I can’t complain too much. They even give out points to the winners.
