Now, ‘fore they get to the big race on Sunday, they gotta do this thing called qualifyin’. That’s where they see who’s the fastest, I guess. This NASCAR qualifying at Chicago, it’s gonna be on Saturday. It’s like a pre-game show, but with cars.
This here qualifyin’, it starts at 1:30 in the afternoon, that’s what they said. 1:30 PM Eastern Time, whatever that means. We just know it’s one-thirty in the afternoon. If you wanna watch it here, it’ll be at 12:30 PM, that there’s Central time. That’s Chicago time, I think.

Now, this big race, the main event, that’s on Sunday. They gonna have it on that NBC Chicago channel. My daughter, she watches that one. And they got this other thing called Peacock. It’s like a TV, but on your computer or your phone. Modern, I tell ya!

This whole thing, it’s a big to-do. They say folks from all over gonna be comin’ to Chicago to watch. Hotels gonna be full, restaurants gonna be packed. It’s good for business, I suppose. NASCAR in Chicago, it’s gonna be a real spectacle.
