Man, keeping up with golf can be a real pain sometimes. But, I’ve been trying to follow Nelly Korda lately, and I’ve got to tell you, this girl is on fire! I started digging into her story, and it’s pretty cool. I mean, she’s a big name in women’s golf, right? Number one in the rankings, winning tournaments, even got an Olympic gold medal back in Tokyo in 2020. Wild!

So, I started my journey by trying to find out all her victories. I looked her up on the internet and found out that she turned pro in 2016 and has, like, 14 wins already. I wrote down each win in my notebook, you know, just to keep track. That’s a lot, especially since she’s been with the LPGA Tour only since 2017!
Then, I got curious about her caddie. I thought it must be some kind of mystery, but it turns out her caddie’s name is Jason McDede. A real partner in crime, this guy. Been with her since her first LPGA win, apparently. And get this, he’s married to Caroline Masson, another pro golfer! What a small world, huh?
Next, I was trying to see if there was any drama or something. I stumbled upon this news about her pulling out of a couple of tournaments in Asia because of a neck injury. Ugh, that’s a bummer. I even wrote a little note about it in my journal, hoping she recovers soon. Injuries are the worst.
After that, I went on a bit of a tangent, looking into her sponsors. Delta Air Lines, Goldman Sachs, Nike, TaylorMade, T-Mobile – she’s got some big names backing her. Makes sense, though, she’s a superstar! I jotted these down in a list in my planner, just for fun. I also found out her family is full of athletes. Her parents were tennis pros, and her brother plays tennis too.
List of Sponsors
- Delta Air Lines
- Goldman Sachs
- Nike
- TaylorMade
- T-Mobile
Lastly, I wanted to know a little more about her gear. Seems like she’s using TaylorMade Stealth 2 fairway woods, which are pretty sweet. I don’t play golf myself, but I like to keep up with the equipment. I made a mental note to ask my golfer friend about these clubs.

It took a whole afternoon, but it was pretty fun learning all this stuff about Nelly Korda and her caddie. I feel like I know her a bit better now, even though I’ve never met her. I guess that’s the magic of the internet, right?
