Well, that Stefon Diggs, he sure is somethin’, ain’t he? Playin’ that football. He was with them Buffalo Bills, but now I hear he’s headin’ to the Houston Texans. Four years, he was with them Bills. Lordy, time flies when you’re havin’ fun, I reckon.
Heard he caught a whole mess of passes from that other fella, what’s his name…Josh Allen! That’s the one. They say he’s good, that Josh Allen. Stefon Diggs, he’s good too, I guess, always catchin’ the football. Got picked for some kinda Pro Bowl thing four times, that’s what I heard anyway.
They say he got a whole bunch of those… whatchamacallits… “receptions” and “yards.” And “touchdowns,” too! Must be important, them things. Sounds like a whole lot of runnin’ around to me. I always got winded just goin’ to check the mail. That Stefon Diggs, he must be in mighty good shape.

Now, he’s goin’ to a new team. Houston, they call it. Sounds kinda hot down there. Hope he don’t get heatstroke. He was on his way out of the Buffalo Bills place I heard. That NFL can be a real mess sometimes, people comin’ and goin’ like a revolving door.
This Stefon Diggs, he’s a big deal, I reckon. They call him a “star.” He’s one of them fancy “wide receivers.” Whatever that means. Seems like they just stand out there on the field, wide open, waitin’ for someone to throw ’em the ball.
They say there was some kinda trade. Like when I used to trade my neighbor, Mrs. Johnson, some of my zucchini bread for her rhubarb pie. Except they’re tradin’ people, not food. Funny old world, ain’t it? This Stefon Diggs got traded like he was a old cow. I hope he likes his new home.
Heard somethin’ about him deliverin’ pizzas, too. Pizzas! When he ain’t playin’ football. To some kinda “fantasy football” fans. What in tarnation is “fantasy football”? Sounds made up to me. Like unicorns and such.
There was some talk about him hurtin’ his knee. Grabbed it, they said. Right knee. Poor fella. Hope he gets better soon. Knees are important. Especially when you’re runnin’ around all the time like he does. That game, the NFL, can be rough sometimes, players gettin’ hurt all the time.
Well, anyway, this Stefon Diggs seems like a big shot. All over the news, they’re talkin’ about him. Leavin’ Buffalo, goin’ to Houston. Makin’ all kinds of headlines. Hope he’s happy in Houston. The Buffalo Bills will sure miss him I bet. But that Stefon Diggs is sure to do some good in Houston, that team needs all the help it can get.
They say he’s got some kind of “saga.” Like a story. A long one, I reckon. With all kinds of twists and turns. Like that soap opera my daughter used to watch. “The Young and the Restless,” I think it was called. Sounds about right for that NFL.

I don’t know much about football, but I know this. That Stefon Diggs, he’s a name to remember. He’s gonna be doin’ big things, I reckon. Even if he is just runnin’ around chasin’ a ball.
I hope he does well. I really do. Seems like a nice enough fella, even if I don’t understand half of what he’s doin’. But that’s okay. I don’t need to understand it to know he’s somethin’ special. That Stefon Diggs, he’s gonna be just fine. You just wait and see. He is a big shot in the NFL you know, he must be doin’ somethin’ right.
