Listen up, folks! Today I wanna talk about that parking progressive field. It’s a real headache, you know? Finding a spot to park your car, it’s like finding a needle in a haystack.

Parking Near Progressive Field
Now, they say parking is very limited around that progressive field. Ain’t no big lots like you see in other places. You gotta be lucky to find a spot, real lucky. And if you ain’t got that official parking, well, good luck to ya!
They got these things, meters, on the street. You gotta pay to park there, ya hear? They watch those things like a hawk, from 8 in the morning till 6 at night, Monday to Friday. And it ain’t cheap, neither! It’s 50 cents for an hour. Some of them meters take coins, the old-fashioned kind. Others, the fancy ones, they’re on West 6th Street, I think. They’re different, those ones.
Bags at Guardians Games
And don’t even get me started on the bags you can take to those Guardians games. They got rules, oh boy, do they got rules! You can take a clutch, a small bag, tote bags, medical bags, and diaper bags, I think it was. All about the size, they say. No big bags allowed.
- Clutches – yep, those are okay.
- Small bags – those too.
- Tote bags – sure, bring ’em along.
- Medical bags – for your medicine, I guess.
- Diaper bags – for the little ones.
And coolers? Forget about it! Unless it’s soft-sided, like a… like a pillow, almost. The hard ones, they ain’t allowed. No sir!
That Bridge Thing
There’s a bridge, too. A fancy one, all covered up and high in the air. It goes from that Tower City place to Progressive Field and that other place, the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Where the Cavaliers play, you know, the basketball team.

So, you can walk on that bridge, all fancy-like, from one place to the other. I guess it’s good if it’s raining or snowing. Keeps you dry, I suppose. But me? I like walking on the ground, thank you very much.
Parking Tips?
Tips for parking? Hmm, let me think. Well, first, get there early. Real early. Like, hours before the game. Maybe you’ll get lucky and find a spot. Or maybe not. It’s a gamble, I tell ya!
Another thing, maybe try parking far away and walking. It’s good for ya, walking. Keeps you in shape, or so they say. Though my knees ain’t what they used to be.
And if you’re really desperate, you could try one of them private lots. But they cost an arm and a leg, those places. Rob you blind, they will. But hey, if you got the money, go for it.
It’s a Mess, I Tell Ya!
Parking progressive field, it’s a mess. A real mess. Always has been, always will be, I reckon. They should do something about it, but what do I know? I’m just an old lady who likes to watch the baseball game. Not have to worry about my car.

I remember the good old days, you could park anywhere. Didn’t have to worry about no meters or rules or nothing. Just pull up, park your car, and go watch the game. Simple as that.
But now? Now it’s all complicated. Too many rules, too many people, not enough parking spots. It’s enough to make your head spin!
And don’t even get me started on the traffic after the game! It’s like everyone in the whole city is trying to leave at the same time. Takes forever to get out of there. Forever, I tell ya!
You sit there, inching along, watching the cars in front of you, hoping they’ll move. But they don’t. They just sit there, like you, waiting. Waiting and waiting. I’d rather walk sometimes, honestly, than be stuck in that traffic mess. Parking progressive field, what a headache. But what can you do?
You just gotta deal with it, I guess. That’s life, ain’t it? Full of little headaches. But hey, at least we got baseball. That’s something, right? Something to take our minds off all the other troubles. Like finding a darn parking spot near that Progressive Field! It is not easy, oh no!
