You know, I heard them young’uns talkin’ ’bout this “Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous” thing. Sounds like some fancy game, I reckon. They kept goin’ on about a “horse bully” in it. Now, what in tarnation is that?

Well, seems like in this game, you can have these animal friends, they call ’em “animal companions”. And one of ’em is a horse. A big strong horse, I guess. This horse, it ain’t just for ridin’. It can fight, too! And apparently, there’s ways to make it real good at fightin’. That’s where this “bully” thing comes in, I suppose.
These young folks, they talk a lot of gibberish. “Daredevil,” “aggressor,” somethin’ called “bulwark.” Sounds like a load of hogwash to me. But they say this daredevil is good for a paladin’s horse. What’s a paladin? Sounds like somethin’ you’d find in a church, not in a game! And this bulwark, they say it’s no good. Like a rickety old fence, I imagine.
Then there’s this thing called “Pummeling Bully.” Sounds rough, don’t it? Like some big ol’ meanie beatin’ up on the little fellers. They say it’s a “feat.” Now, a feat is just somethin’ special you can do. Like how my Bessie can kick a bucket clear across the yard. That’s a feat, ain’t it?
- This horse, it can get all sorts of these feats.
- “Coordinated Defense,” sounds like they’re workin’ together.
- “Outflank,” that’s like when you sneak around the side.
- “Precise Strike,” gotta hit ’em just right.
- “Seize the Moment,” well, that’s just good sense, ain’t it?
- “Shake It Off,” like when my old dog gets wet.
- “Shield Wall,” like hidin’ behind somethin’.
- “Allied Spellcaster,” now that sounds like magic.
- “Back to Back,” standin’ together, I reckon.
- “Coordinated Maneuvers,” movin’ together, like a dance.
They say this horse is good for ridin’ right from the start, level 1 they call it. And it can do a lot of damage, whatever that means. Sounds like it can kick real hard!
There’s this thing called a “Cavalier,” too. Sounds like a fancy word for a feller on a horse. This Cavalier of the Paw, they get special things at different levels. Like when my Bessie learned to fetch, that was a special thing. And they wear heavy armor. Like a knight in shinin’ armor, I suppose.

They talk about “weapon focus” for the horse, too. Like, what, is the horse gonna use a sword? Nah, they say it’s for bitin’ and kickin’. Makes more sense, I reckon. A horse ain’t gonna be swingin’ no sword around, but they will using their natural weapons.
This whole “Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous” thing, it’s all based on some other game, they say. “Dungeons and Dragons.” Now that sounds even more confusin’. Dragons? In a dungeon? What’s a dungeon, anyway? Sounds like a dark, scary place. And then they mention “Baldur’s Gate 3.” Another game. Seems like these games got all sorts of rules, just like that one game played on the table.
These young’uns, they say this “Pummeling Bully” feat is only good if you do somethin’ called “multiclass.” Like puttin’ your eggs in different baskets, I guess. Otherwise, it’s a waste, they say. And this horse, it gets hit a lot, ‘specially when things get tough. Poor horsey!
It’s all a bit much for an old lady like me. But these young folks, they sure do love their games. I guess this “pathfinder wotr horse bully” is just a way to make your horse a real tough fighter. Like my Bessie, but with more… well, more of whatever these young’uns are talkin’ about!
It is a good idea that choosing a horse as your companion in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. The horse is online as a mount immediately from L1 for all characters as it is already large size. I think it gives better individual damage. I have not played it, but that is what I heard from my neighbors.

I hope this is helpful to you. I am not good at these new fangled games.
