Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience at Wildhorse Golf Club in Henderson:

So, I finally got around to playing Wildhorse Golf Club in Henderson. I’d heard mixed things, but mostly good, so I was pretty stoked to check it out.
First thing I did was hop on their website to book a tee time. It was pretty straightforward. No issues there. I booked for a Saturday morning – prime time, you know?
Getting There and First Impressions
Getting to the course was easy. It’s not far off the freeway, and there’s plenty of parking. When I pulled up, the place looked pretty decent. Nothing super fancy, but well-maintained. The clubhouse was a good size, and the staff were friendly when I checked in.
The Course Itself
Now, for the important part: the golf! I grabbed a cart and headed to the first tee. The course was in pretty good shape, I have to say. The fairways were green, and the greens were rolling nicely.
- The Front Nine: I started off pretty well (for me, anyway!). The front nine is a bit more open, which I appreciated. A few holes had some water features, but nothing too crazy.
- The Back Nine: The back nine gets a little tighter, with more trees lining the fairways. You definitely have to be a bit more accurate with your shots. There are some challenging holes, but nothing that felt unfair.
The bunkers were… well, they were bunkers. Some were in better shape than others, but I’ve seen worse.

Overall Experience
Honestly, I had a great time. Played with a couple of random guys, and they were cool. The pace of play was good – we didn’t have to wait too long on any holes. The weather was perfect, which always helps.
After the round, I stopped in the clubhouse for a beer. It was a pretty standard golf course bar – nothing special, but a good place to relax after 18 holes.
Would I go back? Yeah, definitely. It’s not the fanciest course in the area, but it’s a solid track, and the price was reasonable. If you’re looking for a good, affordable round of golf in Henderson, Wildhorse is worth checking out.
