Alright folks, gather ’round! Today, I wanna share my little adventure in getting a “meet your standards” test done. Honestly, I didn’t even know what that was until recently!

The Beginning (A Bit of Confusion)
So, it all started with this new project I’m on. They needed this “meet your standards” thingy, and I was like, “Huh?”. I’d never dealt with this before. The first thing I did? You guessed it – I hit up the internet!
Gathering Intel (And Trying Not to Panic)
After some serious searching, I started to get the gist. It’s basically a way to check if a product, system, or even a process is up to snuff with certain rules or requirements. Okay, that makes sense… kinda. I found some information, but it was all pretty formal and dry. Time to roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty.
Getting Down to Business (My Step-by-Step)
- Step 1: Figure Out the “Standards” First, I needed to know exactly what standards I was supposed to be meeting. Was it industry-specific stuff? Some internal company rules? Turns out, it was a mix of both! I spent a good chunk of time just reading through documents.
- Step 2: Planning the test.I have to think about how to do this test.
- Step 3: Test Execution.I prepared the test environment according to the document I wrote in step2, and carefully and patiently tested it item by item.
- Step 4: Review and fixing.Because there are many standards that need to be followed, there are always some areas that do not meet the standards. I patiently debugged and corrected, and finally fixed all issues.
Finally get it.
Through my own practice, I have completely mastered this skill of “meet your standards” test.
