Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this 1991 GSX-R 750. It ain’t your grandma’s sewing machine, that’s for sure. This here’s a motorcycle, a real screamer.
First off, they tell me it came out in ’91. That’s a long time ago, back when I was still wranglin’ chickens and milkin’ cows. But this bike, it was somethin’ special even then, or so they say. Folks keep jabberin’ on about it, so it must be somethin’ else.
Now, this ain’t no little putt-putt bike. This here’s got a big ol’ engine, a 749 cc they call it. Don’t ask me what that means, but it sounds powerful, right? They say it’s got four cylinders, all lined up in a row. And valves, lots of ’em. Four valves for each cylinder, they say. Sounds complicated, but I reckon it makes it go fast.
And speaking of fast, they say this thing can really move. Top speed of somethin’ like 147 miles per hour! Shoot, I ain’t never gone that fast in my life, not even in that old pickup truck we used to have. But these young fellas, they like to go fast, I guess.
This 1991 GSX-R 750, it ain’t light neither. They say it weighs more than the one they made the year before. Fifteen kilograms more, whatever that is. Sounds heavy, but I guess it needs to be strong to handle all that power.

Now, how much power does it have? Well, I heard someone say it’s got 116 horses. Horses? Inside that little engine? Makes no sense to me, but that’s what they’re sayin’. And those horses, they get to workin’ hard when you rev it up to 11,000 RPM. Don’t ask me what RPM means, it just sounds like a whole lotta noise and goin’ fast.
And gears, oh Lordy, it’s got gears. I ain’t sure how many, but more than my old tractor, that’s for sure. You gotta shift ’em just right, or you’ll be sputterin’ and stallin’ like a rusty old lawnmower.
People are still sellin’ ’em, you know. Even though they’re old. I saw some prices, from a little bit of money to a whole lot of money. Guess it depends on how good a shape it’s in and how much someone wants it.
This GSX-R 750, it’s a real looker too. Sleek and shiny, with them fancy colors. They come in all sorts, I hear. Not like my old mule, Bess, that’s for sure. This one gets your heart a pumpin’ just by lookin’ at ‘er.
So, there you have it. A little bit about this 1991 GSX-R 750. It’s fast, it’s powerful, and it’s a whole lotta fun, if you’re into that kind of thing. Me? I’ll stick to my porch swing, thank you very much. But if you’re young and wild, this here might be just the bike for you. Just be careful out there, and don’t go breakin’ your neck.
Remember, always wear your helmet and don’t go doin’ nothin’ silly. This thing’s got more power than sense, if you don’t know what you’re doin’.
