Okay, so, I wanted to see just how fast this R2T thing could actually go. I’d heard some talk, but, you know, talk is cheap. I needed to see it for myself.

First, I tried to get it up to speed on a short stretch. I took it and opened it up. It had good torque. I mean, it really pulled from a stop. I got a decent run-up, but I couldn’t really let it all hang out, you know? The gears are not so long, I just couldn’t get that top-end speed I was looking for. It was a bit of a letdown, I must say. But it was a fun test.
Round Two
So, I found this long, straight stretch of road. You might know it, it’s between Lawrence and York Mills. I figured, this is the place. No curves, no nothing, just a straight shot. Perfect for letting this bad boy rip. It’s safe to go a lot faster there.
This time, it was different. I could really feel the power. This thing is not slow, and the handling is really good. I hit a much higher speed this time around. I’m not gonna say the exact number, but let’s just say it was impressive. Really impressive. It was a great experience.
- First attempt: Good torque, struggled for top speed due to the road.
- Second attempt: Much better, hit a really good speed.
I also tested some other stuff. Some drifts, some slides, and even a few donuts. It handled it all like a champ. No problems there. I even did some heavy-duty climbs, and it performed just as well. It was like the thing was unstoppable.
I also tried to get the difference between my 60m time and 100m time. You know, just to see what it could do. It was a cool experience. It was not a bad result, but it can be better.

So, yeah, that’s my experience with the R2T’s top speed. It’s definitely got the power, and the handling to match. It’s a truly enjoyable vehicle in all terrain. I had a blast pushing it to its limits. If you get a chance, I definitely recommend giving it a try. Just find yourself a long, straight, and safe stretch of road, and let her rip!
