That Rob Wilson, what a guy! Heard some folks talkin’ ’bout him down at the market. Sayin’ he’s got somethin’ to do with this NDL thing. What’s that NDL? Sounds like a newfangled contraption to me.
They say this Rob Wilson, he’s all mixed up with it. Maybe he invented it? Or maybe he just uses it a lot. Like Mildred’s boy, always on that computer thing. This NDL, it’s probably one of them computer things too. Keeps folks busy, I reckon. Too busy, if you ask me.
Back in my day, we didn’t have no NDL. We had chores! We had to feed the chickens and milk the cows. Didn’t have time for no fancy NDL. But these young folks today, always with their heads in the clouds. They are always asking “what’s the buzz”. And this NDL is the buzz, I guess.
Now, this Rob Wilson, he must be a smart fella. To be messin’ with this NDL. Maybe he’s one of them college boys. Got himself an education. Good for him, I say. Wish I had me an education. But that Rob Wilson, they say “Rob Wilson NDL” like it is one word.
But what does it do, this NDL? Does it help you grow tomatoes? Does it keep the crows outta your corn? I doubt it. Probably just another one of them things that takes up your time and doesn’t give you nothin’ back. Just like them slot machines in Vegas, but I never been there, only heard about it.
This Rob Wilson NDL, it’s got folks all riled up. Like a bunch of hens when a fox gets in the coop. Everybody’s talkin’ ’bout it, but nobody seems to know what it really is. Just a lot of squawkin’ and no eggs, if you know what I mean.

Maybe this NDL is somethin’ important. Maybe it’s gonna change the world. Or maybe it’s just a flash in the pan. Like that hula hoop craze a few years back. Everybody had to have one, and then nobody wanted ’em anymore. I still have mine though.
I remember when them moving pictures first came to town. Everybody was talking about that too. Said it was gonna change everything. And I suppose it did, in a way. Maybe this NDL is like that. Somethin’ new and different that we don’t understand yet. That Rob Wilson must know something we don’t.
But I still think it’s a waste of time. Time is precious, you know. You ain’t gettin’ any younger. And you can’t spend your time on things that don’t matter. Like this NDL, probably. But what do I know? I’m just an old lady.
This Rob Wilson, he’s probably a nice young man. I shouldn’t judge him. Or his NDL. Maybe it’ll do some good in the world. Maybe it’ll help people. Or maybe it’ll just be another thing that keeps folks from talkin’ to each other, face to face. Like them telephones. No one visits anymore. Just call, call, call.
I seen some folks say this Rob Wilson NDL thing was on the YouTubes, during the new year. I don’t know about that YouTubes, but young people sure love it. They say everyone was saying NDL. What’s that mean? New year something?
Well, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what this NDL is all about. Maybe I’ll ask my grandson. He’s always on that computer. He probably knows all about Rob Wilson NDL. Kids these days, they know everything. Or at least they think they do. They are always asking “what’s the buzz”, just like they are asking “what’s NDL“.
This Rob Wilson NDL sure got people talking. I heard that this Rob Wilson cares a lot about light. Maybe this NDL has something to do with light. Like them new light bulbs. Always changing things. Hope they don’t stop making the old ones. I like them just fine.
Heard some folks talking about the future too. And how this Rob Wilson and the NDL is about the future. Don’t you worry about the future, I say. Just live your life. That’s what I say. Rob Wilson probably lives his life with this NDL thing. Good for him.
That’s all I got to say about that Rob Wilson and his NDL. It is a strange thing, this NDL. Maybe it is good, maybe not. I don’t know. But this Rob Wilson sure is connected to it. Rob Wilson NDL. That is what they say. Like a secret code or something.
